YOUR GAME IS LITERALLY RUINING PS4 CONTROLLERS FOR ME
No other game has ever messed up so many controllers of mine, this game is unplayable for me now because it literally ruins any new controller. I just got this remote control and it’s already stuttering from pushing forward so much as killer or survivor. Who ever thought in a game that makes you hold forward constantly that there should be different speeds depending on how hard you push on the sticks?! So dumb. I can’t catch survivors or get away from killers because of these stupid implementations.

I’m not playing this game until it’s acknowledged or fixed, but knowing these devs they’re not going to do anything about the important issues with the game, like balancing or other fixes and just cater to survivors and dish out cosmetics. Really sucks because I love this game, but it’s literally impossible for me to play because I’ll get a new remote and it’ll just end up stuttering like always from playing DBD on console. How stupid...

Thats legit in any game ever. Move the stick slightly? Your character Moves slightly. I have never heard of anybody's sticks breaking from playing dbd. Ever. I been playing for over a year and I'm still using the same remote.

I still got my controller 😘

It’s like on certain remotes of mine it can’t tell whether I’m pushing fully forward or not so I’m going back and forth from half speed to full speed and it’s so aggravating. Other people have been saying the same to me, so I don’t know if I have been pushing too hard or it’s the remote or what, but I’m going to try and play with it more and see what’s up.

Huh, I thought it was just me experiencing something like this. I almost considered getting a new controller even though my current one is quite new any way. It doesn't happen in all of my games but I see it more when playing killer- it'll slow down for a second or two every few seconds while moving. Similar thing with survivors while sprinting and I'm blatantly holding down the button to sprint.

I have seen an improvement since the dedicated servers that’s for sure, but it’s definitely in part for the fact that you have to hold forward in this game more than any other game and also the fact that PlayStation needs to make their controllers at a higher standard. New controllers shouldn’t be losing the feedback in the sticks that quick and either way. Next best bet is to take apart the controller and try and see if there’s an obstruction or that something can be done to fix the feedback when pushing forward on the left stick. For sure I’m getting the year warranty on any future controllers I may buy; I suggest you do the same ‘cause I’m sure you know all too well how frustrating this can be.

I never had such problems, DBD is still the only game where my controller ever randomly disconnected tho...

Wiggle and struggle are the problems for pads health.

That’s exactly right, what did they think mapping controls like that?! Such a dumb thing to do. They really need to focus on fixing these things that people have been complaining about rather than dishing out cosmetics all the time.

Im on PS4 and I have sent tickets in about being able to switch your controls to what you like. The wiggle with the left toggle has broken 3 of my controllers... I am not rough or panically use it, yet using it over and over as much as I play messes the left toggle up. I cant run or I stagger... I would really love this game much more if they fixed that, hitboxes, and vacuum effects. :)
