Make New Ruin it's own perk

It's not a hard thing to simply make new ruin it's own perk that every killer can now find in their bloodweb. I mean why not right? People get to keep the classic Ruin which everyone (mostly) loves and BHVR can keep the new ruin in game as well.

Team Fortress 2 did something similar with the original Equalizer being split into two weapons (The other half becoming the Escape Plan)

Why can't the new ruin be it's own thing that spawns in the killers bloodweb? Something this drastic was bound to cause drama and sadly, it's annoying seeing EVERYTHING DBD related being "NEW RUIN SUCKS, OR #########". Based on gameplay I've seen, the new ruin is pretty useless if you play someone who has good map pressure. Sorry I'm not as good as Otzdarva as killer. But red ranks are a nightmare to play with a good SWF group that can eat gens in seconds.

What you guys think?


Edit: This was a bad opinion because it showed me how bad I was at killer heavily relying on old ruin. Ah how things change.

    IMHO Ruin needs to go but only because it's a literal band-aid perk for gen times being too quick. With no ruin, gens will be rushed through and games will be very quick, and hopefully devs will find a way to add a second objective (Finding generator parts, a fuze for a breaker box to transfer generator power to the exit gate switch, more reasons to cleanse dull totems etc.) or slow generator progress down in general.


    Basically by removing OG Ruin maybe the devs will find a way to balance generator times around not using Ruin. This means killers will have a perk slot free'd up since ruin won't be a "mandatory" perk anymore.

    I wouldn't even mind the new ruin if gen times were increased. Like dude, how fast gens pop along with a lack of pressure with some killers. Like with Legion I don't need ruin because I can keep people busy by stabbing everyone repeatedly, but what about Clown? Clown is well, Clown needs a huge work. But really how about just nerf the OG ruin and make the skill check easier?

    So how long to killers have to get kicked in the dick until the do change it?

    Because it's been almost 2 months now and they still haven't fixed the sound bug.

    cos they simply want to make the game appealing for new players, I think they care little if the veterans will start to lose interest and leave.
