Achievement bug, how to fix?

Hello, just a quick question.


I have played a lot of killer games as trapper and by now i should have gotten the achievement for having 100 survivors step in your traps. Yet on my achievement progress i only have 1/100 which is definitively a bug somehow, does anyone know if i have to contact steam for this?

    Did... did you pick them up out of the traps?... because it doesn't count if you JUST trap them, you need to ALSO pick them up.

    "With The Trapper, grab a total of 100 trapped Survivors directly out of the Bear Traps"

    This is the quote for the "Cripple Them All" Trapper achievement, which I assume is the one you're having issues with.

    if you did, than here's what I suggest next

    Contacting Steam won't really do anything, since the achievements usually bug out when you're doing "collection based achievements." By this I mean achievements that score off of healing, trapping Survivors and picking them up, taking protection hits for unhooked Survivors, etc, will commonly bug out from time to time.

    It's a reoccurring issue, and one that I've faced many times since my road to 100% achievements (which I finished awhile ago).

    You best bet is to click the link below and submit a ticket to the support team, file it under "Other" or "Bug Report" and than give a detailed description of what your issue is while providing any proof if possible (that part is optional).

    if on the off chance you don't get an answer...

    Just keep at it than, since I also had to redo a lot of achievements to finally gain points on them... its common for this to happen with the steam achievements, but these achievements have some issues with detecting progress for some reason.

    Thanks for your reply FireHazard, i never realized you had to grab them from bear traps so it seems to make sense. Thanks for the help!
