Fair enough. I hadn't seen much on Reddit about it, and I don't often come on the forums here anymore. Still worth a shot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
I personally like the original chapters, but I get what you're saying. I believe that they wanted to do a year of original stuff at least. That's what their roadmap was anyway. I think we have more of a chance for licensed chapters after this next one.
-
Just because people are better with a controller, doesn't mean that the skillcap is higher. You can only get so far with a controller. kB+m would give a massive movement advantage on Console when the baseline and skillcap are different than on PC.
-
My guess would be that Dwight has the least bulky model
-
But Deliverance is also a DLC perk, where Slippery Meat is not.
-
The best way to deal with camping killers is to not get caught, and don't let it get to you. If you know how much it bothers you, thats just feeding them. Alternately, if you aren't the one being camped, rush those gens! They won't camp once they aren't getting good returns from it. If you try to go for the camped…
-
The hitbox is not different for each character. In fact, the hitbox for all survivors is the same. Male characters just appear larger because their models are larger, and animations are more accentuated.
-
I suppose this is why Deliverance and Slippery Meat exist they way they do. I used to run Slippery Meat and Up The Ante to just get constant kobe's
-
Balanced Landing and Lithe exist too. What's your point? Survivors are also known to just hold onto exhaustion so they can use SB in the middle of a chase.
-
To be fair, though, the perks still activate against Freddy, but they don't show him unless you're in the dreamworld
-
I'd love to hear your suggestions then!
-
-
Tier 1 Myers cannot be detected by any detection perk. If you read his power, you would know this.
-
But you activate SB by sprinting... that's a button used to activate it. This perk is basically the same as throwing down a pallet and using Lithe over it. How is that OP?
-
Well, it would only activate once in a chase, since there's exhaustion. But I do see where you're coming from
-
For awhile I was playing a pretty good endgame Wraith build that had Fire Up, Brutal Strength, and Blood Warden. I suppose it's really a ramp-up build that shuts down loops, especially endgame.
-
Oooh, that could be good. Like removing her screech or something like that? Yeah, I tried to make Billy synergize with his perks more. I think it would be pretty freakin scary for a billy to come out of nowhere just as you're about to finish a gen.
-
I tried to make all of them change how the killer is played a little, since thats what the good Ultra Rare's do! In my head, the "save points" showed up for the Nurse like the littler marker you get with the Flannel addon.
-
I strongly believe that it was also Vigo doing the experimentation on the killers this past Halloween event.
-
Hmm, if you want, DaVinci Resolve is a free, very nice editing software
-
It kinda isn't anymore. You have to be using a particular addon in order to see blood stains more brightly on Wraith, and even then it's only while cloaked still.
-
Gens have already been slowed since launch, and many perks have been added to slow gens. Hell, we used to not be able to kick gens. As far as secondary objectives go, they don't really do a whole lot. Chests and totems don't really do anything to slow gameplay other than when they're directly effected by something else.…
-
Either way, it's good with Remember Me and some of Freddy's addons
-
Great job! This is the kind of funny, meme-y DbD montages I love. I'll throw it in a few places for exposure too
-
You're supposed to combo it with Myers. His perks and addons synergize really well together. You stack hit cooldown with Save the Best for Last, get a speed boost from Play With Your Food, and use a Tombstone type addon to kill your Obsession, giving you Dying Light. It all works well together as Myers. Alternately though,…
-
Wraith will always be my baby boy
-
Do you mean Offerings? Last I checked, items stay with you when you DC
-
I agree. Perhaps add a small action speed or move speed bonus. E.g. 1 dead: 1% move speed up, 2 dead: 2% move speed up, 3 dead: 3% move speed up. It may not seem like a lot, but even a little like that can be a lifesaver. That would also make it synergize with Left Behind more, a pretty underused perk.
-
Perhaps they could make their fatigue look down more, similar to Nurse. That would give players the ability to hide a little easier after a hit. Possibly increase the fatigue timer a little too. To contrast this, perhaps reward fully recharging Frenzy by adding another second or two to it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
-
Ahh, I understand you better now. I can agree with that!
-
People have mentioned things like prestige basement skins, and i believe prestige items at one point. There's lots of possibilities.
-
Bump because I feel it's really important to get a better reward for prestiging.
-
This is fair. Devour Hope could be an exception to the rule, stating so in its flavor text, similar to what NOED does. Or, are you saying Devour should be lit at first token gain? Either way, both are good ideas. I'm always open to discussion.
-
What's more terrifying than a creepy, old, perverted Santa chasing you?
-
Yep. Matches perfectly with October. I'm honestly surprised they have something planned so close to a big release.
-
I agree. The Thing is a superb horror movie, and I would love to see it implemented in the game. It's just a matter of licensing and development of powers and all that.
-
Well think about it. 1% per prestige adds up. There are 14 survivors and 13 killers, and each has 3 prestiges. If you prestige every character, that's 27 * 3 = 81% bonus BP. Its minimal if you don't play much, but for people who pump in a lot of time, it reduces the grind a bit.
-
But isn't it already something you need to grind for? It's both really. You have to grind for it, but it is optional to do. Giving incentive to prestige would just make it more useful for players who have thousands of hours in the game.
-
Yeah! Even just that would be way better than the basically nothing we get now for prestiging.
