😂 no. He could just place this mid chase with no slowdown and force you to run into them. That did not require skill. It was too easy to apply pressure as him.
-
And what would the alternate trap type do? We all know Clown's alternate bottle is useless.
-
Why do you need to tunnel? Answer that and you'll probably find your answer to why we use DS.
-
I think Pig needs some changes, and Hag could get some gameplay changes too so her power is more intricate than just placing traps and teleporting to them.
-
If I'm getting clearly tunneled out of the game for no apparent reason, then I may be likely to just DC. This is especially true when none of your teammates seems to be making an effort to save you.
-
How did you find this post almost 3 years later lol?
-
I think RPD and and Midwich have a great atmosphere, and their design challenges conventional DBD map design. If anything, the maps are a breath of fresh air since they don't fit the exact carbon copy of other maps. Plus, I've had some of the scariest matches I've ever had on both of these maps. I think Eyerie blends old…
-
People always say that, but having different maps is valuable. Personally, although I'm not a huge fan of Eyerie, it's okay overall. RPD may not be the best gameplay design, but it can be one of the most intense maps to play on against a competent killer. I definitely had one of the scariest matches I've ever played…
-
Still changes up the scenery rather than playing the same environments over and over. Plus, people complain about everything no matter what. People like to complain. About characters, maps, cosmetics, the devs, etc. There is no making everyone happen because people love to complain.
-
How do we have too many maps? There's no way you honestly think that. We've had numerous chapters introduce new characters with no new map. If anything, there's a character overload rather than a map overload. Plus, this game is technically down 1 map since we lost Hawkins. That doesn't even include the multiple chapters…
-
That would kinds get stale don't you think. My idea was just to give each Map variation so that they're not the same each time with the ambience.
-
And many argue Coldwind would look better at night. The point is to have the option. If implemented, Haddonfield could have day, evening and night ambience which is something we've never had.
-
At first I'd think that would make it look like an fps lol. But I guess third person vr is possible. You didn't agree oflr disagree with my post though 😐
-
It should, in my opinion, be reworked to be more interactive. Just requiring us to hit different buttons in the skill check success zone would make it more difficult and intricate.
-
It's happened already, on console. Back around when the Resident Evil chapter came out, framerates were unplayable with lag spikes dropping the fps to 0 every few seconds. I took a break from the game from basically the middle of June to the middle of September.
-
Can't agree with you here. I appreciate your perspectives, but a lot of this is just personal experiences you've had while playing the game. The fact is that you'll face different playstyles against different players, but to generalize that all SWF's are high MMR or all killers will tunnel/camp is an over-exaggeration.…
-
Maybe a simple change that can make doing generators more interactive is by still having to hold M1 to work on the generator, but now you'll have to hit a different indicated button within the skill check success zone for the skill check to be successful. For instance, say you're playing on Xbox, then if you're using one…

Liked post for lasagna cat

I appreciate all of your feedback. From what I've read I actually agree that having an original Vampire killer instead of a licensed one has way better potential to be amazing. I'm sure there will be a The Vampire one day in DBD.
-
I find it cute when a survivor becomes a duckling and follows me everywhere. So long as they do gens when we get to one, don't attract the killer intentionally, and can loop the killer decently.
-
Yeah I guess I'm late. It's unfortunate though. I feel BHVR needs to start focusing more on maps than characters anyway. There are not enough maps to keep the game always refreshing. Especially now since we are losing a map BHVR should at the very least revisit a past original chapter to add maps such as Trickster's or The…
-
That is unfortunate honestly. Hopefully we can get another indoor map in place of Hawkins. I know lots of people don't enjoy the indoor maps but I love them because it ups the horror feel since every corner carries a sense of unknown with it. Tight corners, limited environmental vision, etc.
-
Honestly we need new maps. It gets boring after a while playing the same maps over and over.
-
Probably Hag. I rarely see her.
-
When a trial starts and you don't see the killer and hear the terror radius for a while. I always start to panic and keep looking around me thinking it's a possible stealth killer such as Myers, Wraith, Pig, Deathslinger, Ghostface, etc. I breathe a sigh of relief once I hear a terror radius since most of the time it…
-
I'm for it. I'd be down for a chapter with just Springtrap + A new map; no survivor. I agree that there are not many good and notable survivor options.
-
I wouldn't be surprised to see a Castlevania chapter. It would be very cool.
-
Demogorgon is always a fun match. With Deathslinger it sometimes feels like you can't do anything during chase.
-
I uninstalled the game and haven't played in weeks now. The game was unplayable on PS4. Wondering if I should reinstall it now?
-
Not much. Didn't even bother playing the event since there's no side objective at all and performance on console sucks.
-
Ha, imagine being able to enjoy the event. PS4 (and maybe XB1) players can't enjoy the game at all with the fps dropping to 0 every few seconds.
-
Just curious how every patch and update somehow breaks something new.
-
And I quote, "Both the servers and the framerate are fine." You stated this in response to the OP who was clearly referring to PS4 when speaking about framerate and servers.
-
Wish they would give more maps the Badham Preschool treatment.
-
Thank you. Plenty of other AAA games run perfectly fine on PS4 and XB1. @MegaDwight even claims that the performance on console is perfectly fine on DBD when nearly every other console player is claiming otherwise. Cmon now... you gotta be smarter than that.
-
Happens ALL THE TIME. I'm considering not even playing anymore until these framerate issues are fixed. I feel like I wasted my money on the Resident Evil chapter because I can't even enjoy it due to the performance.
-
Am I the only one who has a PS4 that sounds like it's gonna blow up if it's on the black main screen (before the game says "DeAd bY dAyLiGhT" for too long?
-
There is no reason why DBD shouldn't run well on console when plenty of other larger, more graphically demanding games run perfectly on console. It is called poor optimization. And for all your "upgrade" comments, consider that the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are still very difficult to find and purchase for retail…
-
Doctor without a doubt. All they do is shock all game and make a bunch of noise. It's annoying! Plus tons of Docs apparently love to tunnel.
-
I never complained about the servers. I haven't had issues. I have issues with the game being poorly optimized. Way more demanding games run great on PS4 and XB1. Games such as Battlefield 1 and V, Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, Rainbow 6, COD, etc. All games are larger than DBD in terms of GB and also more graphically…

This game is optimized p i s s poor on PS4. The game literally has an FPS stutter every few seconds where it drops to 0 then goes back to normal. It's annoying during regular gameplay but also can completely mess you up during chases as survivor and killer, as well as on skillchecks. The game is near unplayable on PS4. I…
-
You must not play in PS4. The game literally has an FPS stutter every few seconds where it drops to 0 then goes back to normal. It's annoying during regular gameplay but also can completely mess you up during chases as survivor and killer, as well as on skillchecks. The original poster is correct. The game is near…
-
Happened to me today on PS4. Played 7 matches as survivor and 5 out of 7 camped. Probably a result of piss poor performance.
-
Us console players constantly suffer.
-
I agree. Performance issues have gotten worse and it has been weeks. Still can't even enjoy the RPD map. Yet, cosmetics keep coming through nonstop. I have nothing against cosmetics but at this point it seems like cosmetics get pumped out faster and more frequently than bug and glitch fixes.
-
What offerings are those? Never heard of those.
-
Silent Hill Chapter for sure! I was never interested in Silent Hill before it but playing as Pyramid Head and Cheryl really got me interested in Silent Hill lore. Plus, Executioner is a great killer in the right hands (aka, mine 😈) I think you're mistaking All Kill with Chains of Hate though. Chains of Hate was the first…
-
Random idea just popped in my head but what if we got the Xenomorph as a killer and we start off as a face hugger and have to cling to a survivor almost similar to Victor. From there we would injure the survivor, fall off, chase, latch on again, then down the survivor. From there we could start the gestation and hatch the…

But you could not hide. Hiding is a key part of this game. Current Freddy is a great balance between maintaining the illusion of an actual dream state by not being able to see him from afar or only in little flashes. Then when he's close, it's much better to see him. How would it feel if he was invisible all the way up…
-
I did not say Old Freddy was unfair. I said that not being able to see him unless you're in dream state is unfair. The way they have it done now with current Freddy is much better. We can only see him now when he's within range. Before though, you had no idea where you could hide because you could not see him. That was…
