We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

I had the same issue just now. It's interesting, as the box uses the same spawn locations as survivors and Trapper's bear traps as far as I know, so the box spawning on the fence shouldn't be possible unless you can also spawn on top of the fence as survivor. I might be wrong about that though.

I've done two attempts on this challenge now. The first, I killed three people before all the gens got done, then I closed the hatch and waited for the last survivor to touch the gates.
