I do use ebony moris from time to time and the pattern I see is that the pressure lost from using a mori is gained back immediately because the survivors have lost 25% of their team. Now if you can't use the mori because of personal skill that is a different story, but to killers who have a good understanding of the game…

I like the idea, but having the scratch marks closer together for predator, at least to me, seems like a nerf. With the scratch marks closer together, it gets harder to spot them as the killer.
