I have gotten hell from my team + killer for going AFK due to a pet emergency, even after apologizing and explaining the situation. Some people really dgaf.

Devs have said body blocking a survivor is considered holding the game hostage for that survivor and therefore bannable because it's keeping them from participating in normal gameplay.

I don't mind BBQ, but I find it funny how most claim to only use it for the points but would call it useless if aura reading was removed.

There's also times where the survivors can't help it when a killer chooses a favorite. It's a bittersweet experience. A nice change when a killer wants to play nice and goof off... but when it comes at the the expense of your team it feels scummy.

You are pretty rude about it tho. Telling people they can't count to five. You're assuming a solo will know when and where another survivor has cleansed a totem. It's not about counting, it's about lack of information available compared to swf.

Truth. My gf got me to join her on Survivor today and almost every game one of us was finding a pink key in a chest. No plunderers needed. We ended up hiding the keys so they wouldn't be used unless the killers were playing scummy.

Spinechill, Calm Spirit, Alert, and the fourth, depending on how games are going, tenacity, fixated, or sprint burst. Sometimes I'll switch out Alert for one of the last three as well.

It wouldn't matter. So many times I've been solo and was accused of being in a swf. Some people can't accept that they're not as good as they think they are. SWF is not the problem. People will just find something else to blame their losses on.

No? If you're referring to comms there are times where swfs aren't using any. For example two solos who enjoyed playing with one another enough to invite one another to keep playing, no comms involved apart from pre/post game messages.

In that case I love you. More or less the replies to this are frustrating with all the hate towards survivors like they're the cause for all the bad in the game. If it were up to me there wouldn't be a dc penalty on either side, but I get that's an unpopular opinion around here.

The killer mains in here defending this behavior are likely the ones who do it often. And the truth of the matter is that killers do behave this way pretty often. No one should be told to kill themselves, no matter what side they play. Anyone who defends that should be ashamed of themselves.

The forums are heavily killer biased. I'm not even surprised by most of these responses. Don't work yourself up over it. Most people around these parts will argue with you about any negativity, no matter how true, towards killers.

And you're ignoring the fact that the solo has no idea what's going on. They can't communicate. They're likely getting thrown under the bus by the swf because friends take priority over randoms. They might be playing with a swf, but they're still on their own, and now with hindered teammates.. This is just further screwing…

All these people whinging that OP is telling them how to play. Not once did he tell you how to play. They say play how ever tf you want, just don't play like an innocent victim if you KNOW you play scummy.

You don't like keys because you don't want the match to end too quickly.. so you make the game end faster by tunneling out a player if you don't back out all together. Oookay.

If four chases were happening then it's likely the killer was doing more than camping / tunneling.. so....

How is crouching repeatedly on the same level as forcing someone out of the game early? How is clicking a flashlight a few times the same as intentionally making it so someone can't play the game? Sure they're all allowed, but they're not close to being the same.

It's interesting how when a post like this is made about a survivor's scummy plays and toxicity during end game chat this community is on board with the poster and ranting about how horrible survivor's are. The reality is killers are just as bad but for some reason this community ignores it and gives them a free pass…

The time limit it's active should have become longer to compensate. Even frozen while in a chase. If a survivor can outrun a killer for 60 seconds their perk shouldn't automatically become useless when they go down at 61 seconds.

When will survivors learn that the only way they should play is to load in and AFK? Maybe find a way to notify the killer of your location first because otherwise it's toooo haaaard for them. If you're tunneling and camping then there's nothing else to do but rush gens. Interact with the survivors. Put up some map pressure. Give them something else to do. See how the cycle works?

Based on OP's post, they were playing purple/reds on both sides... so yeah, the stats here aren't reflecting low level players.

The bleedout timer is about 4 minutes anyway. As someone who absolutely despises being slugged like this, staying on the ground is the lesser of two evils because eventually that dc penalty will outweigh the bleedout timer.

Yes, and they can tell you to enjoy your increasing DC penalty.
