Some people just won't be happy until killers are removed from the game entirely and even then they'll complain gens take too long.
-
I'm completely unconvinced there is any matchmaking at all. The amount of survivor games where I load up with a streamer or a cake then get an AFK killer that isn't even playing suggests there's no real logic.
-
As someone that mainly plays survivor, seeing the weirdos addicted to the flashlight have to actually learn how to play would be of incredible benefit. Next thing you know they'll actually start running perks that are good instead of wasting a slot on Windows of Opportunity.
-
I've played 90% survivor for months, try again troll. I've spent maybe 2 hours playing killer in the last week lol
-
Flashlights have been a mistake from the very beginning but it seems pretty clear they are unwilling or unable to backtrack on it as a concept.
-
"When survivors don't make stupid mistakes" is a theoretical game state that exists literally nowhere but in the imagination of the imaginer. It's almost unachievable without cheating by using an out-of-game voice coordination. It has no actual applications whatsoever in the actual game. That it might be halfway relevant…

Nurse's Calling is one of those perks that is forever trapped in the "well, if I had a 5th slot..." group with Iron Maiden.
-
I do think the Turrets should be changed so they increase wiggle progress if the Alien is carrying a survivor. It's very strange to me that in that particular situation turrets essentially do nothing.
-
Playing more survivor than killer at this point but still hitting irridescent 1 at both, for whatever that is worth. I am not sorting them within each tier, that is just the oder they came up on the list. Nurse is high A but it's laughable people say that's the strongest killer with a straight face. Ghostface is very close…
-
It's not really fixable until they start banning people for getting caught using outside sources like discord to circumvent the info perks and using voice chat instead, but they will never do it because the bad players that think Solo Q is impossible will cry too much.
-
Guys, I have been around here less than a month total and even I worked out Biscuits is an obvious troll, stop taking the bait. They could delete killers from the game entirely and they'd still complain that gens took too long or some other dumb thing.
-
I feel... competent at the best of times, like total garbage more often than not. Almost 700 hours in the game. I only play killer anymore with the 100% bonus and even then I'm thinking about just dropping it. Killer isn't fun.
-
I ran into a Trickster on The Game running Ultimate Weapon, Iron Maiden, Starstruck, and Agitation. Crazy build for that map it was a slaughterhouse lol, I give him credit for running something unique.
-
If the game has a way to pop up an error message stating this exact thing, that is absolutely untrue.
-
The thing about playing nicer is it often scores higher too, at least as a killer. Hook camping and tunnelling is the surest path to capping out under 20K points which is a joke that people do it to themselves.
-
The value in the perk is in the information on where your teammates are leaving a locker. The other effect is inconsequential. I don't understand how anyone could have played solo survivor in their entire lives and not understand this, but here we are, I've seen literally dozens of people on the forums completely miss the…

Only one month of decent Xeno play left, start the countdown. It's all so predictible.
-
Do you enjoy shooting Pinhead's hook into the floor, the sky, anything but a survivor? Then boy do I have a treat for you, controller players.
-
I almost wish I'd been around when they launched Pinhead just to watch people lose their damn minds over the Lament Configuration mechanics.
-
You're wrong. Hope this helped.
-
In fairness hexes barely work against human players either.
-
I didn't play the PTB so it's been a new exiperience today and honestly, it's very good.
-
How is 7 bucks for a killer and a survivor in any way your idea of fair pricing? Some of you are way too proud to be cheap.
-
Yeah you have to stand up mid-gen, activate it, then restart the gen. Same with Blast Mine. I think it's so Blast Mine, Wire Tap, and Chemical Trap all activate the same way, which is fine even if it took me a minute to figure out what was going on.
-
This perk does literally nothing if you know the maps, it's laughably overrated. Pick literally anything else except Up the Ante and you're improving your build.
-
I'm actually having a blast today. Games have been... pretty random in terms of quality, but a new map to explore, and a new killer to run from, I'm having a lot of fun. Sorry.
-
I desperately want John Carpenter's The Thing. A weird tentacle monster that can transform and disguise itself as one of your team mates ater it hits somebody? God yes. I don't even care if he stinks, it would be fun.
-
Nowhere to Hide is legit one of the best killer perks and it also combos with several other strong perks on top of that. It's a no brainer.
-
It's not a day in the DBD community if some players aren't trying to raise a stink about literally nothing.
-
Do... do you... think BHVR is financing the movie themselves?
-
If you're seriously comparing DBD to esports there's no reason trying to have anything resembling a serious conversation with you. I salute you for making your profile private so people can't even block you though. If you're going to seriously argue "no one who lives outside of a major city with fiber internet should be…

I seem to remember around 6th anniversary somewhere there was a player survey and some of it definitely focussed on the possiblity of alternate game modes, but to this point nothing has come of it.
-
I can think of nothing that will put a nail in the coffin on this game faster than adding voice chat. I cannot imagine any posible scenario involving the random scum and villany that call this game home where that would end well.
-
Three of the things listed in the initial post are either completely make believe issues or things that are unsolvable by the very nature of PVP gaming.
-
lol just say you know nothing about how the internet works
-
It's pretty bad. I'm playing about 90% survivor now. I try to have some nice words to say to killers when other survivors are blatantly acting like #########, but I doubt it matters anymore. It's clear BHVR doesn't care.
-
It's ridiculous and, in my opinion, an obvious major design flaw that there is no motivation whatsoever to actually run your chosen character's perks. If I built a new game in the DBD style from the ground up, the first two perk slots would be locked to picking from your character's options. I tend to play like this anyway.
-
Am I buying it? Yes. Am I excited? Not as much as I should be knowing we're getting yet another mid tier movement power killer instead of a "shoot acid on flashlight spamming fools" killer. I'll probably main Riplay on the survivor side because Ripley rules.
-
I love him as a concept, but in practice you basically work 3 times as hard for half the results no matter what you do. I don't mind a killer that makes you work, but there's no payoff.
-
If feels like Ash has a tiny amount of voice lines compared to some of the later characters. I'd like them to fill that out, at least.
-
The reason people don't recognize this is a problem is that it's literally not true. Hope that helps.
-
Skipping reading all the hot takes to post the answer: whenever BHVR made the internal descicion that there'd be absolutely no consequences whatsoever for survivors bullying/hijacking games. So, pretty early on.
-
Honestly, playing killer is just utterly insufferable at this point. A "good" session is one that doesn't end in you having a headache from multiple people running the epilepsy gun and "only" having to put up with the blatant abuse.
-
I've had this bug too a couple of times, no idea at all what causes it though.
-
He'd honestly be fine if his dream snares did... you know, something. But they really don't.
-
When I think of games with a healthy long-term future I personally think of both endless lobbies, and also controls that cannot be re-binded. These are both core features that add to my enjoyment and won't become annoying as ######### by the end of one week at all.
-
I, get this, enjoy the game.
-
There should definitely be more survivor ones. I don't mind the killer ones for the most part as it gives me an excuse to use killers I don't play that often otherwise. Considering you can still do challenges from the old tomes, I don't think anyone really prioritizes dailies though. Especially if you came into the game…
-
"Otz said about DBD..." is something I file right next to "Cohh Carnage said Pathfinder Kingmaker was good because the dev team speciifially diverted resources from actual game development to personally patch his broken save file and he doesn't see the problem" on the list of stream opinions I don't care about at all. It's…

It's funny I got into DBD specifically because I felt like hitting idiots with a chainsaw as Bubba would be a fun destresser now and again. I stayed for the variety, though I still have played more Bubba than any other killer. Facts be facts though.
