There are tons of salty people in every game so learn not to take anything seriously. Just report normal salt and move on, let those people complain and for more serious instances like threats of stalking and/or violence then screenshot them and if something suspect happens in real life then take it to the police.
-
You do know grass and footsteps exist right? It's more to do with a lack of situational awareness on your part, don't rely on a terror radius to tell you when a killer is coming.
-
Stuff like this is why killers run noed and/or blood warden.
-
It does happen as a bug on PC as far as I know but not sure about console. If after updating the game, the player opens dbd from the 'manage download' page instead of the game libary the player will get the anti-cheat error after about 5 - 10 minutes or if steam screws up a bit. Verifying the games file integrity,…

Those complaints were more towards the fact that killers could farm vials through normal gameplay while survivor's had to go a bit out of their way to farm since unlike other events their currency this time isn't tied to gens. Most of the complaints were happening during the first 40 hours though and then most survivors…
-
Been shared in the DBD reddit.
-
How exactly are you interpreting the comments? If your saying it's fair for survivors to not get bonus BP after reaching 30 vials because killer is harder then that makes no sense at all. elaborate if I'm wrong.
-
Which points exactly was I incorrect? What parts of my post say I have trouble with chases? I know the tricks and when it's smart to just leave someone alone and my games go great most of the time. Not saying I don't need to improve on things but your post suggests you underestimate me. Rank doesn't equate to skill…
-
What rank are you? Because the majority of survivor and killer games I've been in between ranks 7 - 1 has involved at least 2 survivors being competent enough to abuse loops in the most efficient manner possible. Maybe your matchmaking luck is different to mine and others but survivors being efficient is much more common…
-
You can avoid it by identifying gens close to each other and spread completed gens out early game to avoid this late game. If killer does it early game though then survivors just need to spread out and each work on a seperate gen, killer can only protect 1 at a time and leave 2 open to be worked on so just rotate and you…

You wanted counters to ultra-rare add-ons so here you go. Bloody coil: have an injured person disarm or have a strong medkit to heal yourself, preferably while trapper is chasing someone else. Iridescent stone: keep an eye out for trap locations and remember any set trap locations, simple enough. Waterlogged shoe: stay…

Are the devs aware of nurse's animation/sound bugs that often occur when she is charging her blink? It is extremely annoying to hear her moans going extremely fast while trying to focus.
-
I don't know what rank your at but at ranks 3-1 it's not uncommon to see a short list of people repeatably throughout your sessions. The devs have gotten a lot of flak for their unreliable report system in-game and taking out the other one months ago and the recent video's of tru3 getting streamsniped + sandbagged by…
-
Any update on when the report system that was supposedly being tweaked will finally be done?
-
Ranked is a complete mess to be honest. It's pretty easy to rank up which puts people with less than 50 hours up against people with 1000+ hours and it's an issue not limited to rank 1. Improvements to the rank system is a heavily requested thing and hopefully it happens or some progress towards it within the rest of the…
-
Any plans to address long matchmaking queues at red ranks since it can often takes a while like after x mins expand the ranks of survivors the game searches?
-
Saying this chapter is completely survivor sided is stupid. They got 2 good perks, big deal. Killers got 3 good perks, a new killer that while she may still nees a slight buff or 2 is fun to play and most importantly, some problematic loops in earlier maps got FIXED! Chapters are SUPPOSED to have new and good things for…

Hillbilly's chainsaw can be countered by not running in a straight line, looping him around objects he can't chainsaw around and using vaults so he either misses chainsaw or is forced to M1. Hag has the crouch over places you think there are traps and don't run through predictable loops carelessly. Nurse probably will be…
-
Only if myers is the first.
-
I just laugh at survivors who tea-bag because they're stupidly wasting time doing it while they could've put more distance between us instead. Even better when they cry in post-game chat saying it's impossible to lose the killer.
-
Any word on when the issues with the pigs bugged add-ons like crate of gears will be getting fixed?
-
OH MY GOD! Punishing a camping killer is so easy why the hell are people still complaining? DBD has an influx of new players on ps4 so of course they aren't going to immediately know the ins and outs of the game. Give them time and they will eventually learn camping, while sometimes nessacary is actually detrimental and…
-
Apparently devs are planning to fix totem spawns so they're not so easy to find which is coming "soon". In the meantime enjoy having 3 totems spawn in groaning storehouse.
-
"Tries to bloodlust on safe pallets & jungle gyms"? Are you 100% sure you watched tru3 or just mistook whatever other streamer for him?
-
Do killers even need BL3? The only time I ever got to BL3 was when a solo dwight had to suffer a 3 man swf dc so I followed him around and while letting him get gens and hatch, have never gotten past BL2.
-
Because the pallets were inconsistent and needed to be fixed. everyone was expecting pallets to be buffed and as long as it isn't bringing back the vacuum then no big deal.
-
After the first time it happens everyone knows about the add-on and can easily play around it. If someone is injured then they can just go around and disarm traps while trapper is busy.
-
If a survivor is right on the other side of a window then they can still be hit through it, windows aren't magical so a killers arm can still reach through it a bit. Trust me when I say there are far more pressing hitboxes to fix then windows.
-
Even if that isn't put into the game, someone needs to make a youtube video of that at the very least.
-
Not as powerful as people say, NOED can be rendered non-existent by survivors having the foresight to expect it and cleanse any totems they see before popping all 5 gens. Granted it is the killer version of DS and I expect it to be nerfed in the future but with current balance + shoddy map design I think it will still be…
-
Sprint burst already got nerfed and it isn't the hardest thing in the world to counter. DS is already getting a nerf soon so it won't be a big issue much longer. NOED is easily countered by survivors having the foresight to break all totems before finishing gens. Also your writing comprehension could use some work.
-
There's your problem if your getting rekt by nurse, DO NOT PALLET LOOP HER LIKE EVERY OTHER KILLER! Nurse requires more skill to beat, knowing where LoS breakers are and utilizing them to lose her mid chase is the key to juking her, not the usual brain-dead run around stuff 3-4 times before dropping the pallet, rinse &…
-
The game may be a bit killer favored but when looking at all the maps in general there is actually far more maps that are survivor sided like ironworks or groaning storehouse, maybe when the devs finally get around to reworking maps so all are more fair for both sides they might make some slight adjustments to gideon. Also…

You know, if a billy can see your aura with BBQ and get to you within 5 seconds then it's more of a positioning problem on your part. If you suspect billy has BBQ (and you should be expecting it for EVERY killer) then keep objects and walls between you and billy so he can't just bee-line to you which buys enough time for…
-
DS - can be countered by enduring or avoided by juggling to a close hook. NOED - can be countered by survivors having the foresight to destroy all the totems before finishing the gens. Insidious- can be countered by survivors using their eyes and ears instead of relying on a TR to tell them the killer is near. all perks…
-
These survivor buffs aren't really that big a deal. Bloodlust was created to counter many of the BS loops that existed long ago and the majority of them have been fixed, everyone knew bloodlust would be nerfed when the problematic loops got fixed. Besides how often do people even get bloodlust 2+ without actively trying to…
-
2018 and people still don't know how to counter BBQ. Jeez guys it's easy, go one way for 4 seconds then go another, hide behind a gen or hide within 40m of hook. It's really not that hard.
-
Did you get carried by sprint bursts and easy pallet loops and learnt nothing about stealth and tactics? Then yea, your not gonna have much luck without adapting to the changes. Meta changes and new/changed game mechanics are common in online multiplayer games, balance is fluid and one side is not gonna be OP forever.
-
Not only that but it makes good practise for improving awareness by spotting a killer from all distances without relying on the TR to make them more aware. The bug needs to be fixed there's no denying that but at the same time we should use it to train observation skills while we still can.
-
"OH MY GOD WOULD YOU UNINSTALL DBD YOU CAMPING PIECE OF CRAP!" this is what I recieved after a 4k hag game with the "camping" actually being the survivors running blindly into my traps while going for a save, you'd think someone would've learnt after the 5th time but nope.
-
Yea it's a bit weird, I also play clown and many times I anticipate the vault and throw the gas before the survivor reaches the vault but they still fast vault anyway despite not being in the animation before the gas. Chester mentions that if they're already in the vault animation before gassed then they still go fast but…
-
By killer exploiting DS I think they mean either the killer dribbling the survivor to a nearby hook which isn't really that big a deal or the killer hitting something while DS is hit to prevent the stun, although I'm pretty sure that one got patched so I have no idea what other exploit their talking about.

Hoarding intensifies!

Flashlight saves actually take some skill now instead of being something a 12 year old could do? Oh the inhumane horror. Also flashlights aren't only used for saves. In case survivors don't know it yet, flashlights are also used to blind killers when breaking pallets or vaulting in order to gain some distance and break LoS…
-
flashlight saves are still possible but it actually requires some skill and has some chance of failing rather than being a guaranteed save. All they did was speed up the pick-up timing a bit so you just need to flash a little earlier than before. Also flashlights aren't just for saves as you can use em to blind the killer…
-
Lol, Still seeing lots of 4-man survivor escapes at ranks 5 -1. Not sure where people are getting the idea that survivors have been neutered, just need to adapt.
-
lightweight, really helps when I'm going for stealth/lose the killer plays. (Especially when combined with iron will)
