  • Having those issues still and it gets really annoying. Only me and my roomie have it since we use the same internet connection and I am looking for solutions.
  • Are some people in here seriously trying to blame the OP? Yes, dcing isn’t the nicest solution. But why should he play the rules others make for him instead of just playing the game? For me that’s a solid reason to quit. Also that “maybe he wants to farm”. Maybe some people just want to play the game and others force them…
  • That’s not the topic. 🤓
  • Can’t be my internet. Every other surv is having it too.
  • Maybe you should be more descriptive?

  • @Redd What I am saying is, that thats the point where frustations grow from or thats the mindset of someone being on the hook. This "you are potentially not dead" is prolly also the reason when survs get salty.
  • Im still refering to attitude. And I'm not talking about improvement or whatsoever. I just don't like seeing early tunnel in general. I see why killers do it, i do play killer myself and without tunneling the first one down its rough. Still: The idea of it is just what frustrates most players. As i said previously: the…
  • You literally don't read my posts. I'm speaking for both sides constantly. You are currently just picking on the tunnel. If you don't read my comments rightfully, we'll reach a dead end. And the "common survivor mistake: killer's don't care about you" is exactly the point I am making. :)
  • If he got the three of you, than neither of you guys paid attention.
  • Can only speak for me and my friends as we take the time to message people on PS4 (we have to go to their profile and open the conversation if possible and type via controller or have to open the app on the phone to text) to tell them that they’ve played well. There are lots of sour losers, but I think there are as many…
  • Smite, League, Overwatch, ... so many multiplayer games adopted those honour systems. The only downside to it is people not honouring you when youd probably deserve it, but so what?
  • Not exactly true. I regard it as toxic if you take players out instantly and not give them a chance from the very begining. Taking a whole game from a person that wasnt able to do anything as soon as he/she went down. So they basically get into a lobby, get unlucky and die within the first 2min - considering how long…
  • How is there a double standard? I always try to look on both sides and constantly state so. This post is not about toxic killers. It’s about all the DbD players.
  • @NoShinyPony Why abuse it? It’s just an additional option to honour a player for a good game - with which they might get rewards in the long run. I don’t see any abuse. Either you honour or you don’t. Let’s give good feelings to those who work for good games - the current honour goes unnoticed unfortunately. :)
  • On my way home I just thought about how other games handle toxicity. Most of them got a vote and reward system. Like as killer you can honour survivors that played nicely and as a survivor you get to vote for your mates (limited on the people you just voted for due to swf) as well as for the killer. This might be something…
  • Purposefully trying to ruin someone’s day is very much sadistic and it’s no behaviour I would personally support. Actually saddens me in a way. But I won’t give it further attention.
  • Its showing off to be the superior role. Which is fine when it happens once in a while and can cause some good laughs on both sides but the game becomes less fun when it happens all the time. Although I feel like it’s something to compensate some stress issues (not intended to be shady, just out of curiosity)? :) At that…
  • I've started playing on a Blood Hunt when Clown and Kate came out. It was rough... but the current matches are even worse.
  • @NoShinyPony Not exactly true. I still regard tbagging as being a bad sports. I mean its fine if you do it to be funny but it doesn’t make it right if you use it for the purpose of poking others - at that point its getting toxic which is what I’m referring to. You wouldn’t do it in a football match either or even think…
  • @samination I get you. But I disagree on disabling the chat. For me as a player ignoring the problem does not make it go away. I’ll just not be able to see the problem making me one more person looking away. It’s not single messages I disapprove with, it is the overall tone. It might be due to me personally but I don’t see…
  • In addition to my original post: I think players are way too easy with pushing the responsibility on to others or even find a scapegoat (might also just be my mere opinion). Yes, the design is not the greatest with regards to potential gen rush (which i think can also be due to the killer) and tunneling as it doesn’t…
  • @Redd @BunnyTheHutt Let’s talk gen rush: As of the moment you got people injured or even downed they are in a lesser position to do gens, plus might also need help from other survivors. Which is how you reach map pressure. Yet, if you chase a loop god, a „rush“ is more than likely to happen. It’s more due to chasing for…
  • That's what I've realised too. It's a vicious circle. But just imagine that high ranks give you nothing but a badge for that month of a season - i do not want to know what will happen once there are actual rewards for ranks. I feel like fair play should be honored way more to discourage unsportsmanlike plays - both sides…
