Killer: I always play as either Spirit or Ghostface. Spirit because it's fun to phase and I like scaring people, downing them, letting them wiggle out and then seeing if I can find them again with my perks (Nurse's calling and Stridor) over and over again until they realize I have no intention on killing them. My headcanon…

My daughter did it on her first try. I was impressed. I haven't made the attempt yet.

It's really not. And I'm sorry for ranting, but that really got me. I've been playing for months now and have 350+ hrs and this is the first time anything like that happened. I know it happens a lot on both sides though and she took it like a champ, but still. It was not okay. People can be cruel sometimes.

Just wanted to put this here. Killers can be just as bad. Me and my daughter (she's 14) go out of our way to be nice. The round before last, she let the killer kill her because she accidently teabagged and felt terrible. This round her internet glitched out and she got disconnected. Again, she felt horrible and asked me to…

That is very true. :)

I'm 50/50 on it, myself. Part of me hates the idea because - I'll be honest - I'm just not very good at this game yet (I play mostly survivor) and I don't really want to be mocked by a bunch of people. On the other side, I remind myself that it doesn't really matter because I won't ever watch it, so how would I know what…

I said WGLF, mainly because that's the only one I have right now. I have the only Unbreakable and Tenacity unlocked so far, but not in my bloodweb yet. As it stands WGLF has helped out a lot, especially since there have been more slugging rounds than normal the last few days. I've been able to save quite a few with it…

No, killers get nothing out of it. Leaving an item is basically just a way for the survivor to tell the killer thanks for a good game in case you won't be able to tell them so in end game chat.

Being slaughtered, I think. :D These past few days have been brutal.
-
As a survivor, I must disagree. Not every survivor is like that. Now, be aware this is coming from the perspective of someone who has only ever played single player games (Bioware fangirl), and this is the only multiplayer I play. My thing is - if everyone isn't having fun - why play? It will NEVER be my intent to hurt…

Just...wow. They look amazing!!!
-
My guess? Just like survivors, they want to achieve their objective. If you show skill, why run the risk of letting you off the hook and possibly escape? That's just my opinion though, I don't know for sure, but I feel your pain. Whenever I pallet stun or do a good loop (ultra rare for me) I tend to get camped and…

Sounds like a good idea at first, but yeah - the toxicity would likely ruin it complete. Already today I've had three rounds where a teammate actively tried to get another teammate killed. Voice chat with them? I think not.

Spirit. She just looks amazing. I'm in love with her. When I play killer, I usually play as her and my only sadness is that I'm in first-person so I can't look at her. Whenever I face her though, I get really happy, I don't even care if she kills me quickly, is toxic, etc. I'm just happy to see her. I'm weird.

I've been trying to get BP so I can level up all the characters to get everyone's teachables. That way I can have all the perks and start trying different combinations until I find one I really like. At the moment I have about ten survivors at level forty, and about five killers, so Right now: Survivor: Prove Thyself,…

As a Survivor: That when you first start, Technician can go a long way in helping you as you get familiar with Skill Checks. Don't try to escape from the hook. 99% of the time, you'll die because of this. Just wait and hope a teammate will save you. Only try to escape if you're about to enter Stage 2 and no one is coming…

Butt-dancing Scream. Something about seeing Scream butt-dance with the survivors is just funny to me.

Personally, I just think it's bad manners to slug and kill everyone within the first couple minutes of the game. How is that fun for anyone, especially after waiting so long for a round to start? There have been times when we have all spawned together - survivors and killer. The killer immediately downs everyone before we…

Resident Evil, no question - though my kids would disagree since they are huge FNAF fans. If they put Leon in DBD I doubt I'd ever use another survivor and any killer from those games would be interesting. It just seems like a natural pick, to be honest. Outside of FNAF or Resident Evil, though - and this is stupid - I'd…

I love Spirit. She is easy, but she takes getting used to. She's better with the right perks. If you aren't good with paying attention to the environment or sounds, she's probably not for you since you can't see people when she's phasing. I always play as a fun friendly killer, though so I'm not really one to give advise.…

To be fair, I run Prove Thyself, We're Gonna Live Forever, We'll Make It, and whatever other perk I feel like at the time. Before I started using that build, I would escape a match maybe 1 out of 20 matches (I'm not competitive and just play for fun). I only started using that build because I'm trying to level up all the…

I'd recommend Technician to every new player. It's a fantastic perk to use when just starting out so you get use to skill checks without always alerting the killer to a gen. I'd rather lose more progression on a gen than have a new player constantly let the killer know what gen we're at. I typically run Prove Myself and…

If I play against ghostface, my only hope is that they'll mori me if I get killed (love that mori). When I play as killer, I usually only play as Spirit (I only kill people when I have a challenge where I have to, otherwise I just have fun chasing and hitting, if I down them, I either let them wiggle free or drop off at a…

We once played against a wraith who made it clear from the start that they were just farming. We all went along with it and had a great time. We played around with the Wraith the entire game, dropped all the pallets so they could break them, let them constantly break the gens, and let them hook us all twice. We had played…

My favorite was when I watched my son play as killer once. He wanted to play as a friendly killer and maybe brighten someone's day. After the round started, he realized a survivor was AFK. He ran around butt-dancing (he was playing as Scream) until the other three survivors trusted him enough to follow him to the AFK…

Made an account to say this: Dead by Daylight is the only multiplayer game I play, and only because it's a cross platform game that I can play with my family. I only play DbD with my kids, my Significant Other, and - at times, my SO's cousin. The only reason I started playing it in the first place was because my kids (12…
