  • This map really is a mixed bag. The dungeons are for sure survivor sided but the outer area is killer sided as hell with nearly no loops nor good palettes. I mean there is literally one you can walk past when dropped?? I managed to escape there once so far and only because the killer was trying to play around the dungeon.…
  • 4. Gen Speeds For this part of the discussion I would like to point out that gen regression perks are not the problem, gen speeds are. Let's bring some numbers into it New Killer thats dosen't know a thing about the game gets builled and ran like a fool right, Gens take 90 Seconds right so with the 5 you have to complete…
  • To be honest, if ANYTHING ELSE besides doing gens would not be considered trolling these days - then maybe gen rushing wouldn't be such an issue. But with the current meta of the game it's all a survivor can do. Guess it's the price y'all have to pay for wanting a gen kick meta and longer gen repair times.
  • Well, you already pointed out the big problem here. Solo queue players have to sacrifice 1-2 perk slots just for the game to be playable as a team which SWF groups do not have to, since they get that information about voice coms. Those perk slots could be used for way better perks. Let's turn it around and say killers…

  • I just mentioned the survivor perks only because this thread is about them. But you are for sure right that it also counts for the killer perks. Both sides have like 10 perks that are good which reflects in the "variety" we currently face in all games. It's tiring but I guess BHVR doesn't care since they said there won't…
  • In all honesty, it would be easier to list the perks of survivors that do not need a change. Because most of them are just useless, extremely niche or straight up toxic.
  • They once said they wanted to go away from these type of survivor tomes, just for the last tome to be "blind the killer x time in a single trial" or "hinder the killer x times in a single trial"… lol And then you had killers complaining in the forums about the abundance of aggressive survivors with flashlights on top of…

  • Highly agree, there are so many perks on both sides that are (borderline) useless or so extremely nieche that they only work in certain situiations. The meta is so stale with every role having a pool of maybe ~ 10 useful perks. Also like ArcT said: Since late July of last year, BHVR has only touched 5 survivor perks in any…
  • I would love if kills for bleeding out would reward 0 points whatsoever aditionally. I never found it fair that a killer gets points for kills while I am forced to wait out a 4 minute timer with no ability to do anything productive or recover and get no points becuase of this. Sure it won't stop many from doing it but it's…
  • Nobody runs this perk because it is hot garbage and works more against the survivors than it works for them. It already requires you to finish a gen with another survivor to even activate which is stupid because Prove Thyself works without that and does the same thing basically. And the more gens are being worked on…
  • Yeah pretty much. On maps like Mother’s Dwelling they sometimes blend into the environment and are almost invisible. All three of the maps you named have this weird colour palette of darkish blue/green/red mixed together
  • The Haddonfield map for sure is atrocious. Killers can just stand in the middle of the street and see both exit gates, lots of dead zones and useless loops/palettes. Idk how they managed to make an outdoor map worse than Midwich but here we are. They should revert it until they come up with a better rework because it is…
  • Thought as much, it's just for my own peace of mind I guess. The slugging itself I don't mind (if it doesn't last like 3/4 of the bleed out time) but purposefully bleeding out is toxic and BHVR should acknowledge that at least imo

  • I was always wondering why his power does not interact the same as Pig's power. But then again, if it would work like this the entire hindered effect wouldn't make much sense out of chase. BS regardless but I doubt they will ever address it since he's played so much
  • If they leave me on the floor to bleed out for literally no given reason I just report them after the game. I doubt it does anything but I'm not gonna do nothing while they are allowed to "remove" me from the game and wait out a timer. Only because the killer has nothing better to do in their life than wasting people's…

  • Honestly I wouldn’t mind this at all. I don’t play with exhaustion perks anyway because I always forget that I have them and then just completely blow them into the wind by accident :’)… but I do play a few survivors that are just way too loud by default cough Lisa Garland, Yun-Jin cough and since BHVR forgot that they…
  • Ugh I do miss how much darker this game used to be. All the bright maps these days take so much immersion away. Slapping on thick fog, darkest moonlight and the default Claudette outfit and you were undetectable… memories :')
  • Well to be fair, Reassurance was a pay to win band aid solution for camping killers
  • I always thought this "high risk, high reward" aspect of ruin was the main idea behind the entire perk. Like yeah, it has a very strong effect but it can also be dealt with really fast
  • My biggest wish would be perks from chapters that I bought not being locked away behind a massive BP grind on top of being behind a paywall already also finally having the chase music updated for all the killers that have no unique one yet lowering the amount of map copies (like 5 different coldwind farms/Preschools) and…
  • I don't necessarily have any perks in particular, I'd say. I would love to see more general perks tho. Especially on the survivor side I would love to see new ones, band aid perks like Reassurance being locked behind a paywall is somewhat outrageous. The last time we got one of these was when Shattered Hope was introduced…
  • Well maybe in a SWF stack, I've yet to see a single survivor in solo queue using OTR for blocking a hook instead of idling around until it runs out. I do not doubt that the perk is hot garbage in general tho. A necessary evil for this "oh so healthy playstyle", especially since tunneling combined with PGTW is such a…
  • Sorry to say this but if you have issues with DS and OTR that's more a you problem than a perk problem really
  • The hatchet wind up grunt of the huntress with this skin is so silent you can barely hear it. So it’s kinda hard to tell when to prepare for that
  • Well, whoever worked on this map actually managed to make it even worse than Midwich. Congratulations.
  • +1 on that Hawkins is currently one of the worst maps when it comes to rubberbanding I've noticed
  • After playing a few more rounds here’s what I’ve gathered. rubber banding on both survivors and killers Getting stuck in windows while vaulting as a killer Massive frame drops from the “hit” effect on both survivors and killers Random teleporting/rollbacks on both killers and survivors Xenomorph turrets somehow teleporting…
  • If it’s a third party program it is not intended to affect gameplay, hence I would say it is? Idk Kind of the same thing with killers using VPN, also a third party program creating an advantage
  • I had some funky shenanigans as killer and survivor. As killer I was glitching over vaults, my FPS dropped to 5 every time I got a hit, as survivor I was rubberbanding on maps and then suddenly standing somewhere else, killers somewhat teleported towards the hooks before hooking. That engine change really messed things up…
  • Yeah same, when I hit a survivor or vault a window my FPS literally drop to 10-20
  • Genuine question because I have to idea how these work. If they are directional, wouldn't this kind of defeat the purpose of shack and high T/L tiles since they would tell me where survivor is going?
  • It is a killer's job to find survivors. For that they already have a plethora of aura reading perks, scratch marks, crows, failed skill check alarms. Besides, what would your suggestion be? You can't have a big arrow pointing on top of their head, that's for sure.
  • After watching the entire thing(unfortunately), let's highlight some of the key things he said. Exhaustion perks are not earned and you have to do nothing to get them Cool beans, let us also talk about how almost all aura reading perks are not earned and you have to do nothing to get them. The game wants to be skill based…
  • Honestly I am just waiting for the moment somebody starts to complain about the perk Hope at this point. And after that probably running altogether.
  • That would at the same time punish killers that might just have a lag spike or not the best internet connection in general. While I think that using VPN for their advantage should be a bannable offence, since it’s basically cheating on certain killers, I don’t think there is much you can do on the game side besides changes…
  • I still remember how it was totally okay for killers to pick the most oppresive area lockdown killers (Hag, Knight, Skull Merchant), force a 3 Gen and then keep that game hostage for 30+ minutes just to tell the survivors to "suck it up" or "simply play better". So yeah… what goes around comes back around I guess. Besides,…
  • This is giving me war flashbacks of the VPN huntress era… The servers work heavily in favour of the killers when it comes to hit validation. If your ping is good and theirs is absolute hot garbage they still will get the hit. Even tho for you it looks like the situation on the screenshot
  • We suffer more than anything.
  • Doesn’t that kind of incentivise killers to go back to 3-genning maps in the first place since there is no drawback to hold those 3 until there is only one left to complete?
  • Exactly what I am thinking: why are perks that I basically paid for locked behind a grind to even use them? I never understood why they weren't available in the bloodweb right away after they changed the prestige system.
  • I agree with this. I think it is less an issue of the amount of gen kicks overall and more of an issue of bad map design. Maps got smaller to help M1 killers while completely ignoring how oppressive high mobility killers can get with how close the generators spawn together these days.
  • I don’t think bloodpoints are easily obtained like you say for killer gods sake it’s 4v1. To me personally it feels easier, I should've stated that so my bad. I just spoke from personal experience from calculating the average bloodpoint amount after X games and also occasionally playing killer myself. 2 changes I would…
  • I don’t see how this correlates to what I said but okay? Literally what do second chance perks do anymore when there are only two survivors left? You can only use them once per chase anyways and I highly doubt the other survivor is able to do 3+ gens by himself during that time. Also keys? They literally do nothing at all…
  • To be honest, I do the hide and seek too occasionally. But it depends on the situation. If the killer played fair then I will play normally and it’s all fair game. But if he’s playing scummy and wastes my time, I don’t see why I am not allowed to waste the killer’s time too. Unlike me he will get more than enough blood…
  • Literally making Kindred base kit would help out solo queues so much already while being useless for SWF since they get the information that perk has over voice chat anyways. Just a thought
  • I play solo queue mostly. And the experience has been more than horrible lately. It never has been good but especially the last few patches are just a joke. The few games I play currently, I usually just face killers that run broken perk combinations that absolutely wreck solo queue lobbies or they just tunnel/slug players…
  • I’m sorry to say this, but it just sounds like another killer’s MMR being way higher than their actual skill level. Killer is for sure stressful, but in no way harder than a survivor, especially in SoloQ. Killers have a tendency to just bloat up their MMR by using scummy tactics like tunneling out survivors at 5 gens or…
  • There are a few maps where hook spawns need to be a little adjusted or dead zones need to be looked at. Dead Dawg Saloon comes to my mind with this one main building variant where the back room on the second floor only has one exit. But other than that, the hooks already spawn so close together nowadays. You can eaisly…
  • It's a fun feature but I wouldn't want to see it in solo queue games to be quite honest. Those are already hard and miserable enough as they are and I wouldn't really want to see 2 people getting extra lucky and spawning with No Mither into the game.
  • I think it comes down to the drawbacks that Judith's Tombstone has compared to the Tombstone Piece, them being 200% increased Evil that is needed for Tier 3 and the -9% movement speed once Tier 3 is reached. The Tombstone Piece basically just doesn't have that and instead you just go back right to Tier 2 after getting the…
