The recovery add-ons (chewed pen, address book and matchbook) are so good and universally useful that almost all the other add-ons are useless in comparison. A change in a similar vein to this would be very welcome.

It also helps THEM pip, as I'm pretty sure that survivors get the "ESCAPED!" event when they step on a trap during a chase. It's mental.
