Unless they changed this then idle crows don't spawn if you gesture (point or beckon)
-
Thanks yall I appreciate it!

Once you get good at aiming you might have trouble hitting survivors at mid range while they're dodging, you want to charge a hatchet and stare in one direction, then throw when they run into your hatchet throwing direction. Also charge hatchet all the time, I very rarely throw uncharged hatchets (they move slower and…

For survivor I main Jake, and on killer I main Blight (the only slowdown I run is surge I'm cool), but I hop between Demo and Wraith too.
-
Survivors should instantly die on Dead Dawg and Coldwind
-
Get behind cover when you see billy revving his chainsaw. Billy cant turn very well after starting a chainsaw spring, so changing direction helps in open areas. When Billy initially starts a chainsaw sprint, he will be able to make a quick 90 degree turn, so keep that in mind. When having trouble against a killer, I find…

Finally.

Just because perks require others to be good doesn't mean it's not meta material. Ruin-Undying was a big meta changer when Blight came out, even though Undying basically required another hex to be usable, and Ruin was able to be cleansed early in the match unless one was running Undying.
-
If you successfully bait the head-on you also get a free m1, or grab if the survivor is a goof.
-
When you repair with another person you and the other person will repair 15% slower individually, so as Harold_Shipman said, it is faster to work on gens by yourself. The red/yellow progress bar shows the speed of the action for only you and not the total speed.
-
I think the most helpful thing one can do is watch streamers or youtubers who are good at the game. Also, playing survivor and getting good at looping can help teach where looping can be countered, so that you can apply that knowledge to killer.
-
Just remember that survivors who teabag aren't making distance, and survivors who click are wasting charges. When I realized that BM gives survivors a disadvantage, it became much easier to deal with them. I even look forward to the next Tbag.
-
I doubt that the new UI will affect custom perk icons. As long as you can still access and modify the icon folder I don't think that there should be an issue.
-
I've always wanted a perk that lets survivors see the auras that you see, if you can see their aura. For example if you have Dark Sense and Bond, any survivor that you see with bond will also see the killer's aura via Dark Sense. This would obviously just be a perk bandaid but I think it would be cool.
-
You right, for some reason I imagined the 10% as a constant number lel.
-
None if the below is true I'm stupid and bad at math. While survivors would gain extra speed the Clown would gain the same amount of speed, which would mean that distance isn't gained.
-
I also had this problem and was kindly assisted by @KhaineGB. In order to fix this problem go into the steam properties for dbd, and at the bottom of general where it says, "launch options" you can change the resolution with this: -ResX=1920 -ResY=1080. Be sure to launch DbD in windowed mode and the game should be back to…

SWF means that there are at least two or more survivors who are playing together. It doesn't necessarily they are on voice chat, but usually that's what people mean.
-
I'll wait by the gate to buy my teammates more time by having the killer force me out, or waiting in case a teammate needs help. If I know everyone is safe I'll leave immediately.
-
As far as I'm aware, Charlette loses her terror radius when you're controlling Victor even without insidious, so no, this doesn't make the perk viable.
-
of course there will be an influx of key users, but I doubt that it's because keys would be next in line, but rather as a way to celebrate mories being nerfed. It wouldn't make sense for people to use all their keys now anyway since nothing has been announced. We can always dodge keys in the mean time.
-
Clearly the idea wasn't quick to think of for bhvr, I guess.
-
If they did announce it beforehand many people would start using all of their mories before they get nerfed, like what happened when insta-heals got nerfed last year. They learned from their mistakes when it comes to that kind of thing.
-
It wasn't used because it still lets people kill people on first hook, which is still cutting out two thirds of the game, it just takes slightly longer to do so. They also said that this mori change was done since it was basically just a number change, therefor quick and easy to implement.
-
No, seeing the killer if you happen to be looping near the hooked survivor would be OP.
-
I like the idea, except seeing the killer's aura is probably too strong as basekit. It would likely remove the scenarios when someone dies on first hook because everyone thinks someone went for the save, or whoever went for the save gets chased but no one knows. As a bonus it gives extra information about other survivor's…
-
Gen rushing is technically when survivors do gens instead of unhooking teammates or getting them off the ground if they're slugged. When people say gen rush they usually mean that the survivors did the gens fast.
-
I'd normally say DLC because we have mid-chapter patches for a reason, but after this patch something has got to change for the better.
-
Sometimes when you switch from victor to Charlette, Charlette stays at fatigue movement speed for the rest of the match, no matter what you try to do to fix it.
-
Finally, a good bloodpoint addon
-
Same, I love him but his point of view is just awful. I have to run Shadow Born in every build just to not lose survivors when they run through grass.
-
We're Gonna Live Forever is great! Having double bloodpoints alone is good enough to get into a build, but you can also pick dying survivors off the ground twice as fast, which is always good to have when the killer is snowballing.
-
It would make her much easier to play, but assuming the survivors get all the gens done, you would only be able to use the extra lunge distance five times per match. That alone makes the perk pretty pointless.
-
Blight takes a lot of practice to learn to play, but once you have a good grasp of his power and know the layout of every tile in the game by heart, he is REALLY fun and pretty strong.
-
I guess some killers like doing literally nothing for four minutes. That being said I will do ANYTHING for my fourth BBQ stack.
-
Prestige doesn't really mean that a player is good at the game, it just means they play a lot. I have even seen legacy players make questionable plays.

Enduring Spirit Fury
-
Blocking someone does NOT block you from being matched with them. It only blocks future friend requests from them.
-
who?
-
The map isn't a connected pallet loop, so overall I think that it's pretty good now. Also walking on snow leaves footprints.
-
Oni in his power can strafe, crash into walls, and flick his attack 90 degrees at the end of his dash, making him while in his power much better than Billy. Blight's power is much more likely to get a hit in most tiles than Billy's is, but he doesn't insta-down.
-
Solo unless I friends online. So mostly solo

Spirit Sunday
-
If they were slugged for a bit, they could have gotten some wiggle bar progression with Flip Flop. The perk turns half of recovery progress into wiggle progress.
-
It wasn't announced officially, but it's a fair bet to make that they nerfed it because you could do this: saving a teammate without losing any resources is really strong. At least flashlights can be baited or avoided, with pallet saves you can't do much except waste time sweeping the surrounding area for a survivor that…
-
Because you used to be able to pallet save and have time to pick the pallet back up before the killer got out of stun.
-
Spirit is really strong but she can't go through walls.
-
I really thought that Voldemort's power would be avada kedavra and the ability to apparate. I wasn't disappointed with what the concept actually was.

What a fantastic introduction to the discussion LOL
