Yeah, I missed the blood moon thing. I heard some people actually enjoyed that
-
I think I stopped playing shortly before the Alien chapter and then picked it back up around the time Dracula came out? Hated learning how to play against Chucky, Drac, and the Unknown (the Unknown especially because without researching, how would I know I need to look at him while being chased to get rid of his power???)
-
The DBD community is sadly full of boring people as well as people who are out to just make others miserable. My experience has pretty much been the same and it's insane to me that when there's a whole normal queue, people go completely out of their way to queue up for a holiday event queue and slug everyone to came and…
-
Sounds like a good amount of time. After all, 7 minutes is all Wesker has to play
-
What's the term for when something gets removed so the game can be better? Oh yeah, killswitch. The best Cenobite change would be a permanent killswitch
-
You ain't cooking bro. The "consequence" of following Ghostface to knock him out of his power is that he gets an indication of the direction you're looking at him from and he can just turn to you and now you're the victim of chase.
-
The biggest issue with DBD events are the DBD playerbase tbh. It's crazy to me that people will go to an entirely separate game mode specifically designed to get challenges done and not interfere with regular lobbies and still slug you for 4 minutes and W+S over your body until they feel like using their Mori. Even with…

I feel like this conversation comes up once a year, every year and then gets ignored. There's literally no reason the killer should see a survivor's name prior to the game. Items? Fine. Character? doesn't matter but fine. Names? there's no justification for it and though there aren't massive amount of cases, there are some…
-
Huntress is both the most fun killer to play AND the most fun to play against. The only other killer I would put on par or (maybe slightly) higher would be playing against a Billy that only uses Chainsaw.
-
Yeah, there's not really anything exciting to look forward to here.
-
I've played Huntress with full aura build for years and regularly wnd with a 3k or higher. You really don't need gen slowdowns if you constantly know where people are and don't waste time in deadzones
-
Easily SM, Knight, Twins, Deathslinger, Trickster, Sadako, The Dark Lord, Chucky, Xenomorph, The Unknown, Singularity, Legion, Cenobite, Clown....did I miss anyone? Can't stand about half the killer cast tbh. Pretty anyone with an annoying power, slugs for a living, or who is too oppressive in chase is boring to play…
-
Simple answer, people are boring. Literally yesterday when I played, some guy decided to slug me to kill A BOT that had DC'd in the first 30 seconds of the game. slugged to kill a bot…… a bot. like i need people to understand how silly and stupid it is
-
He's kinda busted and there's little counterplay to him. There needs to be higher cooldowns on him going back and forth between Bat, Wolf, and Vampire form
-
The way I see it this has to be split into 2 categories: Range vs melee The gold standard of a fun but strong range killer is easily Huntress. For "melee", I'd say Billy, Oni, or Demogorgon tbh. I can actually have fun against them in chase
-
A blast mine hater? :( Sorry, nothing is funnier to me than when someone puts Wiretap on a gen with a Blast Mine and I get to watch the killer get their vision blown out. Even when it happens to me on killer, I do a quick spin and start nodding to whoever I know is watching
-
Original DS was definitely kinda busted
-
Not illegal. They literally hold the rights to change the game however they see fit Glad she got nerfed. Wouldn't care if she got permanently kill switched tbh because the character is annoying, boring to play against, and everyone who plays here somehow manages to play in the scummiest ways possible 🤷🏾♂️
-
He literally has hellfire which can go through pallets and walls, can spread pallets like Demopuppy and can transverse the map faster than most killers in bat form
-
It isn't necessary to nerf SWF groups because killers overall are winning anyway. The ones who aren't, hate to say it, but it's a skill issue. Actual good killers are winning regardless and they've released stats to back that up a few times now.
-
Well Bungee gum has both the properties of rubber and gum....oh we aren't talking about HunterxHunter spiders...
-
I just played a match where 4 people ended up in a cage within a 30 second time frame so yeah…. it was impossible to recover at that point, especially playing solo and not knowing what everyone else is planning on doing. I also figured out the hard way that if Billy is just close by and revving his chainsaw, his teammate…
-
thanks. that actually helps alot. Had no idea you could remove the weakness or get rid of the hallucinations
-
We can just agree to disagree fundamentally on that because I'm unsure who decided that 75%/3k is the criteria for a win but I disagree. A 2k that ended with 7-9 hooks is still a win and a close game in my books but that's where I'm sure we just disagree on mindsets. And with the way I play survivor, especially against a…
-
Why shouldn't killing most of the survivors be difficult to achieve? I don't understand this argument. You want one side of the game to be hard but the other side easy? Why not aim to make both a challenge? If I'm default getting a minimum of 3k every game while barely trying, the game is too easy
-
Oh wow. It's almost as if (this is not me yelling but more of a neon billboard for all to see) PEOPLE PLAY "SWF" TO HAVE FUN WITH THEIR FRIENDS The argument that people have been running for years that people only play with friends for a competitive advantage of some kind has always been wild (and wrong) especially since…
-
Short answer: A large portion of this player base is boring and play with the intention of ruining the game experience of the opposite side and write it off as "strategy" or find some other random reason to justify boring gameplay
-
The is and always had been mid. It's only extra powerful when pair with Hope during endgame 🤷🏾♂️ It's a B tier perk
-
And people wonder why we're asking about basekit unbreakable when people like this exist
-
Attractiveness + shorter and easier to hide. When I do play a male, it's Adam because he is a Black male teacher just like me 🤷🏾♂️
-
Honestly just try to have fun. I hardly play anymore because everyone takes the games to seriously at higher levels so appreciate the baby killers while you're still a baby survivor. Play what perks you like, meta doesn't matter. Go for goofy plays, reset pallets, Sabo hooks, do fun things At some point, play killer…
-
As a We'll Make It user, if I follow you for more than 3 seconds and you don't stop running and the killer isn't anywhere near us, I've started to just walk away and let them die. I'm now going on a round the world tour to give you the 8 second heal I couldn't done and moved on from in the time it took you to run wherever…
-
Lol so funny thing is I did queue up for a game after this because I couldn't end on that. The next game started off fine against a Blight. He gets a hook, we get a gen. He goes for a 2nd hook and I sabo the hook. Well he took that personally because he decides to hook me and then HARD tunnel me off hook every time I got…
-
Idk, I'm solo queued so I can't say exactly what they did but you don't get a lot of BP on survivor no matter what you do. I've had entire games play out and escape with like barely 15k BP and other games where I have like 24k so it's so finnicky. But just using game sense and what I saw on the hud, after that first down,…
-
I'm guessing you didn't..... read what I wrote XD After 1st person got downed and hooked, the other 2 ran to the killer and got downed together. it's literally in the post above but i guess that was too much to read lol
-
LOL I just noticed she's running multiple exhaustion perks. ready for any situation
-
That is the build I run every game
-
It's a personal preference and I know there's counterplay. I just want to have fun tho and find slugging boring. I'm not saying it's OP or anything, just something i hate to see XD
-
He's one of the few killers where I debate instantly DCing as soon as the match starts and I hear that loud ass noise to let me know i'm about to have a boring, drawn out match XD
-
Probably no nerfs but just delete Infectious Fright. Not because it's OP, but just because everyone who uses it, uses it to slug
-
I hardly ever get less than 3 kills as Huntress and Doc who are my 2 mains. I literally have to throw to get less than a 3k
-
Yeah, i learned this about a year ago or whenever Knight came out. I dropped the game completely and only played like once a month since then for an hour or two before i realized why I stopped playing in the first place and go back to Overwatch, Apex, Fortnite, Resident Evil, anything/everything else
-
there is literally no situation in which you CAN'T catch a survivor unless you're bad or you've reached end game using a slow killer and they have multiple perks stacked to increase their speed so the situation you're describing is literally just made up. The situations I described happen daily
-
I mentioned the survivor perspective because that's the role where the fun you have gets dictated for you by how the killer plays. In the examples I gave that happened today, a person being camped in the basement doesn't get to choose how the remainder of the match plays out. It also forces the remaining players to rush…
-
Thank you for actually reading and understanding what I'm saying. I genuinely don't care about living when I play survivor and I also don't care about getting 4 kills when I play killer. I want a fun game on both sides that just involves playing the game in a way that doesn't require playing "efficiently" every time I turn…
-
For the record, I also play killer and am not a "survivor only" player
-
thank you for literally backing up what I'm saying about the mindset of the community.
-
My complaint is the community's overall mindset that getting kills should be prioritized above all else. Yall focusing on one portion of what I said. It's the community mindset I have an issue with
-
What I said was pretty self explanatory. The chase should be the fun and focus of the game, not "how many kills can I get and what's the easiest and most boring way I can possibly get them" What happens, happens means we need to stop worry about "win/lose". That's why this game is becoming so boring and sweaty.
