It's nice to know that this is happening to multiple people since the event. I'm experiencing the same thing. People literary stopping and then insta zooming through windows, singu tps being super wonky, Dracula transformations being wonky. Already thought my game was giving out
-
Didnt even say anything about killers being op or something needing a nerf. Just pointing out that from what I am experiencing more and more killers use a playstyle where they rather bleed the survivors out instead of hooking them cause they either dont want unhook perks to trigger or dont want to risk the 4%. This means…
-
I mean I have nothing against tactical slugging. I understand that it is necessary and dont mind being slugged for a couple of seconds so the killer can go reload or chase some nearby surv and then comes back and hooks me. What Ive seen today is a lot of killers just coming into the game with the intention, that they are…
-
It has to be nerfed honestly. Especially for solo queue players its super unfun atm. You can only counter so much with ur build. Atm you need to bring DS, OTR cause tunneling is still super prevelent, you need to bring unbreakable cause the slug meta becomes more and more present, Shoulder the Burden to stop your teammates…

There really isnt much to like about her imo. She really really for me feels like some sort of "filler" similar to skull merchant. Just some killer to pass the time until the next big licence release. Her code was probably already in the game since her power is just a combination of wesker and deathslinger. I guess the…

How to completely miss the point of a thread :) I did in no way complain that the maps are too op or strong or anything for survivor. The only thing I pointed out is that 70-90% of my games happen on these 3 maps atm cause survivors favour them. Also that I dont like that (again not because they are op) but because this…
-
Well tbf he has a point with some of it. In many of my survivor games I see survivors follow the killer around after they got unhooked to pull of some DS play or to instantly FL save another survivor that is getting chased. Those are mostly the same survivors that then have a meltdown in endgame chat that they got…
-
In the mmr that I'm playing at I would say 6-8 games out of 10 I play against SWFs.That doesn't mean 4 man bully or comp squads but mainly 2-3 friends in an SWF with 1-2 solo queue teammates.
-
I understand the complains yet I still like the idea to finish a match with a mori. Feels far more cinematic than just hooking everyone. They could just make it so you can instantly mori the last survivor when everyone else is either dead or hooked and already on second hook state.
-
Things like this have always been a part of DBD to be honest. I can't recall how many times back in the day I played against Bubbas that made a point out of just facecamping one guy out and then trying to trigger them in endgame chat. Some people just play this game to be jerks. Just say gg and move on after the game. The…

Skull merchant had one of the highest kill rates in the entire game before her nerf tbf. This kill rate got absolutely inflated by many survivors instantly giving up and suiciding on hook. But thats a story that the numbers dont tell. The numbers just said, that her kill rate is too high and thats why she was nerfed into…
-
Singularity is more or less fine balance wise. He just punishes the playstyle that most survivors use against most killers, which is holding W and insta using everything. I'm mostly doing fine as him and against him.
-
Sometimes I'm just mindblown by this forums ability to make every thread no matter the content, topic or context an instant "them vs us" thing.
-
Yes, handling high MMR means playing the same 3-4 maps 90% of your matches and loving it
-
The devs have stated time and time again and also proven with many changes in the last years that they nerf and buff because of numbers and balance sheets and not cause one side screamed the loudest on the forums or on reddit. Saying it's the killer players fault that survivor perks got nerfed is honestly just bait
-
I mean it's your opinion and that's fine. But I had a totally different experience in 2vs8 with much less sweat than normal dbd, people goofing around and in general being much more relaxed. And seeing how many players switch I would guess that most share that experience and rather play 2vs8. As to the killing DBD point:…
-
Honestly if normal DBD wouldn't be flawed or damaged to begin with players wouldn't play 2vs8 in such huge quantities for such a long time but just stick with normal dbd. So it doesn't do any more damage but just shows the damage that is already there. Many players have bad experiences in normal DBD be it constantly facing…
-
Not really sure if validation really happens only on killer screen and always gives killers advantages. At least in my experience as a 2000 hours huntress main I had a lot of high ping survivor get hit by a hatched, make an injured sound and bleed but not lose a health state cause the hit didn't register for them. If it…
-
Multiple reasons: -no real marketing - she feels clunky to play -her design ist just woman with dog. No monster no scary entity. Just woman with dog - Her power is a mixture of wesker and slinger. Not really exiting.
-
I mean I don't agree with how he said it but he generally has a point. BHV was way more interactive back in the day and listened to suggestions and feedback from community streamers etc. Atm, at least in my opinion, that isn't really the case anymore. Tons of changes that noone asked for that get a lot of negative feedback…
-
I mean it's personal preference. My normal queue times are also quite long with 3-5 minutes so the jump to 10-15 minutes isn't that high and I also started doing other stuff while queuing anyways since my queues aren't instant. Also if I have an hour to play DBD I'd rather play 3 or 4 fun 2vs8 matches than 6 or 7 normal…
-
I really like 2vs8 and I'm solo queuing most of the time as killer and survivor. The appeal at least for me is that 2vs8 feels way more relaxed and arcade like than the total sweatfest that are most normal games. Also for killer it's fun to get other randoms and see how they play killer and how well they harmonize with…
-
Makes sense tbh. Huntress can combo well with most other killers. It's pretty fun to snipe people that your teammate is chasing and get fast downs with that combo. Atm a lot of killer combinations just dont work very well. With huntress you at least stand a chance most of the time.
-
Some killer combinations are just so much weaker than others. A fast killer like Billy wraith or blight with something opressive but slow like huntress or nurse works very well and leads to fun and close games (at least from what I've seen) Meanwhile if you get something like huntress spirit it's more or less a stomp since…
-
Killers also get free genspeed and genrush and dont need perks to access that
-
Why should you get free anti tunnel when you can just run anti tunnel perks? Would be the same as people saying: I get blinded at least once a match so give me free lightborn or I cant find a palett so devs give me free WoO. If tunneling is such a huge problem for you and you have tools against it then use them instead of…
-
Honestly just wait and see until the gamemeode is out. Killers are heavily altered in this gamemode after all. Who knows how blight will work in 2vs8 or what changes will be made to nurse from the first time 2vs8 was live
-
What you describe has nothing to do with the player amount in General. Dbd had the highest player count of the last couple of months while 2vs8 was live. Most killer players and many survivors just took the chance to play killer with a friend since at least imo it was super fun and only available for a short time. So there…
-
I mean the MMR system seems very confused most of the time. Whenever I pick up a new killer that I have never played before I get matches against the sweatiest SWF with 10k hours each that absolutely stomp me and basically have to play myself down into a bracket that reflects my skill level on that killer. Meanwhile on my…
-
I mean gen slowdown is the only perk build that is viable in almost every game no matter the rank or skill of the survivors. Running any other build always is a risk that it could go wrong. Run oblivious build and get matched with an SWF on comms ⇒ useless, run totem build against totem cleaner perks ⇒ useless, run chase…
-
I mean as Coconut pointed out in his new Video, with the right setup with corrective action, hyperfocus and friends that run the same build, it is possible to do gens in 15 seconds with 3 people or gens in 30 seconds with 2 people. That is without iri addons or special toolboxes or even having to hit skillchecks. This…
-
Just to point that out: There are about 3-4 of these threads per week in this forum. Like Im glad if you have an experience with enough killer variety but there are apparently many other people that dont.
-
From what I can tell 90% of the outrage comes from the way this was handled by the devs. Like there was never a real aknowledgement that maybe her key design was already not really fun to play against or even as. The problem that many survivor players just outright refuse to play against her and instakill themselves or…
-
I dont think anything will change tbh. The Skull merchants numbers speak against her. She still has one of the highest kill rates in the game and the Devs have already confirmed that they nerf according to numbers. That the numbers are probably inflated cause most people just instakill themselves when they see a skull…
-
This forum in a nutshell: Survivors: Happy skull merchant is now also nerfed so hard, that noone will ever pick her and I'll never see her again Also survivors: Opening thread why they only go up against the same 4 killers all the time.
-
I think its the wrong approach. Skull merchant and Twins were always "problem killers" with very low pickrates and considered annoying to play against for different reasons which led to very many complaints about these killers everywhere. The changes to these killers just seem like an "out of sight out of mind" thing. Just…
-
Honestly I think the issue seems to be that you dont play these killers often. I took a longer break from DBD right after Xeno but was a Huntress/Plague/Meyers main before that. When I came back after Chucky release I bought every killer I was missing and started playing them for Adept. The first like 10 matches I had on…
-
Ah finally we are back in this forums anual "the game is dying" season
-
Happens every once in a while. When Im playing huntress, which is my main with like 800 hours on her, I also sometimes get survivors that have like 80 hours in the game and are completely confused about what is happening. As confirmed by the devs the mmr system values queue times more than actual skill rating. Also the…
-
Like Im pretty sure at this point that the SBMM is responsible for most problems this game is having atm. People just dont get matched in their skill bracket. KIllers that get destroyed start camping and tunneling cause they feel its the only way they have a chance and then after a while adapt that playstyle for every…
-
I second OPs opinion that killers generally should be hard nerfed. But especially wraith and pig Take away wraiths ability to uncloak and make him watch angrily as survivors do gen. Make it so that when you load in as pig you first need to actually pass a trial yourself which consists of having to solve university math…
-
I'm fine with anticamp getting a little buff but this would just be way too much for normal and way too abusable. Shouldn't be the point of anticamp to give every survivor base OTR so they can run across the map after the unhook and tank a hit for their teammate that the killer, that wasnt even camping, is chasing and all…
-
Probably Plague aka Adiris. From what I remember from her lore she never murdered or did anything evil to anyone but rather as a high priestress tried to save and help as many people as she could. When one woman got sick she even severed her own toe to make a blood offering to the gods to try and cure her. When the plague…
-
From my personal experience and collection I would assume that 99% of the DBD economy is running on feng and sable skins. Also most packs consist of a killer AND a survivor and I would also assume that a lot of people just buy the whole chapter and dont go out of their way to only buy one side. So I don't know where…
-
I mean people learn how to play against certain killers by....playing against them. Analysing how certain killers work, which strats work against them etc. is the essential part of the survivor gameplay and the more often people play against a certain killer the better they get. I think vecna has such a high kill rate…
-
Like everyone else says its a region/MMR thing. For me in EU it has been the same rythm every day since the BP incentive first came out with only a break during 2vs8. From 2am to 4pm I get 100% survivor bonus and from 4pm to 2am 100% killer bonus.
-
Well tbf I can understand his frustration to an extent since even if MMR would slowly decline if you dont play it seems absolutely confused what to do with you if you pick up a killer you never played. When I bought unknown 1 month after its release and started playing him my first 20 matches were just SWFs with like 10k…
-
I think the change away from the last person still going normally through all the hook states has less to do with a "the match is over anyways" thing but more a timeloss thing. At least from my memory when this was still a thing a lot of survivors wouldnt even try to unhook themselves (mostly out of spite I would presume)…
-
But that might honestly just be a SBMM thing. For me its not as bad as OP claims but 80% of my games are 3 or 4 man SWFS and at least 2 out of 10 games I play are good old bully squads (or survivors trying to be one). Talking 3 man Head On on Glenvale, with flashbangs and flashlights and 1 designated gen-pusher while 3…
-
Like the fact alone that almost every killer runs more or less the same build, which are the meta slowdown perks, should tell you something about the usefulness of other killer perks. Very many killer perks are also just borderline useless. Like when is the last time you have seen a killer run overwhelming presence, septic…
