I agree! There is is currently a topic being discussed in relation to what you just stated too. It’s in Balance Feedback.
-
Well said! I think this change will make the game simply more about the game. Keeping it hidden but still available at the end screen will keep the in-game experience mutual.
-
How many times you gonna ask the same thing? You are clearly against the idea, we get it. What else is there to say? Clearly by the upvotes on my post, others agree. I’m not discounting your opinion but stop forcing yours onto me.
-
Removing the survivors name from the killers view, let’s say maybe just in the lobby but can see it in game, is not a punishment. As this change isn’t unwarranted, there is actually issues between killer and survivor toxicity. This is just a small idea to help smooth it out. Like I said, nothing about this idea is…
-
Nice message and well said! I agree with some points. Just to clarify this post wasn’t intended to punish anyone and obviously my idea isn’t final, it can still be adjusted and tweaked to be polished into a fair state. The examples I gave were nothing more than examples I don’t wish them to be banned or punished. I only…
-
I think you need to stop assuming what everyone’s intentions are. I asked you to confirm your stance on the topic, that’s it.
-
Just so we can stay close to the topic..... You’re both saying that you disagree with taking away survivors names from the killers view? And your reason being is that survivors are toxic and by doing this it is punishing the killers, correct? Or am I misunderstanding what exactly your point is?
-
Yeah.... I don’t think he’s saying anyone should be punished. It’s just obvious that the idea of seeing people’s names does affect play quite often, whether you notice it or not. A good example could be.... Let’s say I’m going against a good red rank killer, that I and many others know. This killer also knows you and has…
-
I agree, you bring up good points. I can see a lot of different variations of this idea working.
-
Yes! I think this situation has happened to all of us.
-
I agree with you. Obviously my idea is not polished so, additional things will be needed such as making sure people can still be reported accurately. Other things could be preference like, more people would rather see survivors names in game but they agree with the killer not seeing there’s. Everything about this idea is…
-
Yessss, please fix the map RNG. I play the same select few maps all day long. 😩 The only way to fix it is to offer maps and I think that shouldn’t be needed.
-
I like all the points and I think everyone is valid. I don’t think anyone should be forced to play anything but, I feel like when you decide to play the game in general you shouldn’t be influenced to leave based off who you’re playing and I feel like leaving everything anonymous might make it a bit equal. We haven’t…
-
So... I understand your point but this doesn’t help the discussion. Or more so I should ask, what exactly is your stance on this topic? This point kinda seemed like you were trying to say killers and survivors are equally toxic to each other.
-
My bad, I tried searching for relative posts before making this one.
-
For platforms like console, specifically Xbox, we have a lot of problems finding matches when you’re red ranks and people know you. Doesn’t mean they know you for doing something bad, they just simply could know you for being good. Or when they chased you they were having a hard time, this relates back to the bad ranking…
-
What platform do you play on? And do you report these people?
-
Sounds like a game issue, they need to enforce a harder policy on banning these people if you’re reporting them. But I understand where you’re coming from.
-
On console you can’t see who the killer is until after 5 minutes of playing the game but, survivor is always visible.
-
I think dodging in game gets you a ban, I’m not sure. But yes, on console you can’t see who the killer is till after 5 mins of being in the game. But you can always see the survivors.
-
I agree.
-
Possibly adding a number system? Like make each person 1-4 instead of names and at end screen the number matches their name and what character they were playing. I’m sure something can be sorted out.
-
Yesssssss 😩
-
Everything about this reply is hypocritical.
-
The fact you guys are treating this idea of Sprint Burst as if it’s a new perk you’ve never seen is kinda hilarious. Is this what you baby rank people go through? Sprint Burst is Sprint Burst it’s not that difficult. You can fake rev chainsaw let them use it then chainsaw them again. Like lmao? There’s no one answer but…
-
This thread isn’t about countering it but it’s typical gameplay and like any other change people learn new things and adapt.
-
No worries. I applaud your obsession with me. ❤️
-
Get off my post if you’re offended. Next.
-
This relates nothing to the topic. Next.
-
I’ve been playing the game for more than a year since it came out on console my knowledge of the game is perfectly fine. It’s more so the people who are clueless on how to counter abilities and would rather it be easy than learn to adapt. I play rank 1 billy and have no issues 4k’ing and I’m constantly thinking about what…
-
I just imagine all these people who call perks powerful and OP to be the same people who camp and tunnel unhooks and play the game not optimally. Through every stage of this game every killer and survivor has adapted to what it had to offer and at every stage there was good survivors and good killers. The only reason…
-
Leave that to me to decide then since I’m the OP. People always out here asking dumb questions. 💀
-
Why are you controlling my post? It’s an idea, and frankly you’re not the majority. Just because some people disagreed on a forum it does not represent the entire DBD community but sadly after interacting with you, it seems like you think you represent them all. 💀😂
-
The games kind of evolved and players have gotten better. I think reconsidering it as seeing all the other changes occurring isn’t a stretch.
-
Once again, thanks for your opinion. Now let’s hear what others have to say.
-
That’s your opinion and I applaud you for having one. But in case you didn’t know, the world doesn’t revolve around you. You said your opinion now let’s hear others. Bye bye.
-
Are you going to offer alternatives or just keep being a nuisance? You just say the same things and only see it one way. What’s the point, where do you want this conversation to go?
-
I think you might be lost or confused. Adding a key press makes the perk more skill based. You’re suggesting that walking around the map to conserve your sprint burst is skill/strategy which is absolutely humorous. By adding a key to it for activation it makes it skill based. Just like Dead Hard- Dead Hard is not an easy…
-
That’s currently how Sprint Burst is. It definitely needs a cool down/exhausation though. You could easily abuse it. This topic is in relevance to a change/edit to its current state.
-
That’s not strategic, that’s just game knowledge. It doesn’t take skill to use the run option and 99% of the time you’re forced to run if you plan on making it to a pallet and 99% of the time you wished you didn’t use your Sprint Burst to get there. And you don’t “have it whenever you wanted” it’s still a one-time use and…
-
I know some are incompetant (like you) so let me further explain. Sprint Burst gives you a burst of speed for a short period of time. This would still be the case in the new Sprint Burst. The only difference is being able to control when you’re using it. Everyone is quick to call something OP, but rather it is more…
-
Did you even read the post or did you just decide to be a smartass and reply to comments?
-
It would literally do the exact thing it already does, the only difference is it allows you to control it. This is kind of necessary for competitive players, it is in no way broken and it’s still effected by a one time use as usual. Literally nothing is changing.
-
Lmao, what? It’s exactly the same thing the only thing that changes is how you activate it. Sprint Burst isn’t broken at all. This response is rather hysterical.
-
I’m gonna add this to the original post since this is a great point.
-
Correct. But Vigil before was used to help you get exhausation back even faster. Now Vigil will just allow you to get exhausation back period. At a normal rate and it takes up a perk slot allowing for a bit of a balance.
-
It’s not necessarily OP. Like stated above by another user, you’re using up a perk slot just to get exhausation back. That’s pretty fair.
-

-
I think a lot of players don’t really care for the not running exhausation coming back. Making exhausation come back while running is way more useful.
-
I agree with this idea as well. To be honest I’m fine with anything as long as it results in getting exhausation back.
