it is 100% due to the smoke bombs. At least while playing killer if the match ends while you are in a smoke bomb, the game will be muffled and you get no fast vault notifications ( the chase music will keep playing at full volume though >.>) . Guess one other thing I can add because it is not mentioned here. It is possible to also close the hatch while summoning a guard.

That video is an better example than what I showed. The knight has issues that can be easily abused if someone wanted to. A person on an exit gate could be grabbed off of it from a distance which can change the outcome of the end game easily.

It is probably the same bug that is on live right now. So i assume it is the one where they hit you after they stun you with the teleport, but they don't teleport because you solved the box and down you with franks instead. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/282631/pinhead-is-causing-softlocks#latest

Update: The player that gets hit doesn't even need to be injured to get softlocked. They just have to drop the box after solving the box it turns out.
