Like others have said they continue to put less and less effort into making an enjoyable event. They put their effort into creating an event that is essentially a glorified cosmetic sale. I think this event is an insult to the player base. People already payed for the game and many people buy the DLC's as well as cosmetics…

I mean, there really isn't any other reason besides greed.
-
I mean they pulled a successful bait-and-switch on their consumers. Their objective to swindle people into buying the DLC worked. I don't think they are going to change the perks in any way that makes them remotely strong. They got their money, and that was the only intention.
-
god forbid players want to take advantage of double bp to bypass the tremendous grind that is necessary to acquire useful perks. 2x BP should be the standard honestly. The grind puts off so many new players. Whats the point of even having different lvls of perks? It's just an unnecessary grind. Also if you guys are worried…

As someone who plays a lot of killer I think the breakable walls would be much better used to address the pseudo infinites that exist on other maps. Most good killers should not struggle on shack as it has a simple mindgame. Maze tiles don't need breakable walls because again good killers can mindgame these and get quick…

I dislike that she invalidates any build that wants to heal. Usually the gameplan is quite boring against her as well just rush gens and don't cleanse.
-
I think it would be really cool if survivors had unique abilities or passive bonuses. As it stands right now there is no real reason to play other survivors. They just arbitrarily assign perks to new survivors so you level them up.
-
Yeah, they refused to answer my question regarding the current state of gameplay. It seems that they have a mindset of "devs can do no wrong" which is disheartening as many players have expressed discontent with the way the game currently is. I feel the current cycle of releasing new chapters does little to address what…
-
I think you're mislead here. I'm not saying the changes they've made aren't meaningful. I understand that for this game they need have updates or players will lose interest. I wanted to discuss the possibility of deviating from the same cycle of releasing a killer chapter every three months. There are many changes that…
-
It's not beside the point. You said that I was only looking for changes that only I personally wanted when instead a large amount of players actually share similar beliefs and want some changes to the core gameplay.
-
Yes, currently I feel the game needs changes that will shakeup the gameplay. Do you think the current gameplay for survivors to solely focus on gens then leave is fun and engaging? And can you see how the current gameplay might not be satisfying for some players such as myself? The most enjoyable parts of the game for me…
-
None of those changes you mentioned actually change any of the core gameplay. You still hold m1 on a gen for 400 seconds and get out as fast as possible. The ruin change is the difference between having to hit great skillchecks versus not having to.
-
@Fibijean In my initial post I listed changes that I have seen lots of players ask for such as bloodweb changes and devotions level. These aren't just changes I want.
-
The game can have changes while still maintaining its identity. For example the EGC was a large change to the core gameplay that overall improved the health of the game while still maintaining this "identity"
-
Well as it stands now I don't think the core gameplay is in a good spot, and I've seen many complaints on the forums asking for new changes . I don't mean band-aid fixes with perks, but actually changes.
-
Exactly what @ApeOfMazor said. Things that will shake up the game and bring players back and new players in. The EGC is an example.
-
The archives are nice, but really don't add much besides cosmetics. I'm curious if they will change things such as the devotion system, or add new content such as new items or more objective for survivors to do.
-
I feel this change mostly hurts low-tier killers. Killers that are good are strong because they can pressure gens, so this change will do little to the top-tier killers while really hurting killers with no map pressure.
-
DC punishment hardly means anything when you can ######### on hook
-
I understand you point and definitely agree. It's just that instead of adding new content to the game I would rather them fix core issues of their game that aren't fun to go against
-
Why would it ever have good perks? Then people wouldn't buy the DLC
-
If the devs didn't want us to get a false representation of the killer they wouldn't have the PTB and they would test it themselves. Instead the PTB was their only way to showcase the killer to increase sales. By making the killer more fun and powerful during the PTB they could trick more players into purchasing the DLC.
-
Yeah it seems they like to release things overtuned because more players will purchase the DLC and then nerf it. In MoM's case there's no way the devs didnt see how powerful of a perk it was before releasing it. They needed a reason for a large number of players to buy the DLC before they gutted it.
-
To think that players don't make a decision to purchase a killer based off PTB gameplay is just lying.
-
This is true. They should have clearly addressed that they didn't intend for the flick and it would not be in the final product. To not do so is disingenuous.
-
This is exactly true. If they wanted to say hey the flick that everyone is enjoying and is what makes the killer fun is NOT intended then Oni wouldn't have sold as well. They need to clearly address this especially when it's the main appeal of playing/purchasing the killer. To not do so is disingenuous.
-
After doing some testing it appears turning with the mouse is significantly slower as well.
-
The control of the flick with mouse also feels much worse now. This means using his power in loops is much less effective ultimately giving you no reason to play Oni over Billy.
-
They also nerfed they turn radius with the mouse
-
Yes, I completely agree. Everyone who enjoyed playing Oni was because of the flick. The devs knew this and decided it was in their best financial interest to not publicly declare it as a bug, but to wait until they had made a certain amount of money to then nerf it. I unfortunately spent real money on the Oni and no longer…
