I've noticed this on the series x as well. Only when in game. I don't see it in lobby
-
Runs good, but had problems where I would lag around completed generators and the meat plant would drop fps in certain areas a lot.
-
The lighting fps drops on series x have been around awhile. I've commented in the optimization discussion a long time ago. Hopefully they are working on it
-
Yeah had the same problem. It was posted awhile back. Any challenge that includes hooking in the basement doesnt work.
-
Same for me. I have the current tome done and this was the only challenge left from tome 1. Very frustrating because it is such a hard challenge
-
I just did this challenge finally after so many tries and it didnt work. Cmon #########
-
I had this on series x gas heaven
-
When I played against freddy the dream world was too dark too see anything. When I died, I watched and the it was normal, just not when I was playing
-
Besides fps, I've noticed PC survivors are more twitchy. So I try not to move the camera as much. Killers are the same besides some sharpshooter deathslingers or huntresses
-
My xbox one x is fine so far. I have two xbox one x's and my older one would crash after being in a game for a few minutes. This was awhile back, but I ended up needing to take it apart and put new thermal paste on it.
-
Seems a bit better since update for me. Updated maps seemed to play better than original ones
-
Not showing up on mine
-
Got stuck and a myers leveled up and morid me. Kinda funny tho, wasnt too mad lol
-
You would think so, but my xbox one x doesnt handle it that well. It should be better than my old PC, but it doesnt. My old PC at medium graphics and 100% resolution gets 43 fps which feels so smooth compared to my one x.
-
It says next gen will have better graphics but didnt mention anything about better performance.
-
Yeah its frustrating. I have the game for 3 different systems and it's amazing how much better my old PC plays this game compared to the xbox one x. My PC isnt anything special, but I can play on 100% resolution and medium settings and it's way smoother than the one x. Almost all of my time and progress is on the xbox so…
-
I saw a small bit of the stream today and asked about console optimization but didnt hear anything? I assume it wasnt brought up?
-
Yeah. It should play like that all the time. I've seen others mention and I've noticed myself is that my fps increases as killer after each survivor is killed.
-
I would hope it would run 60 fps no problem, but I wouldn't count on it. I remember reading an article a while back that said they would have enhancements for dbd on the xbox one x and that never happened.
-
Bump
-
I think it is what it is at this point. Doubt anything will be done.
-
Roadmap to 60 fps on console.... lol That was a thing at some point? or not?
-
Disappointed. Too much hype for this killer
-
Yea, I have thought of doing this or at least trying it. Don't have the much room for a desktop to
-
I have it on xbox,ps4 and PC. It plays a lot better on my PC, but I prefer to play it on my xbox on my TV rather than sitting at my computer desk.
-
The white top was the extra piece of clothing
-
Think they should bump it to 1080p, low graphic settings and locked 60 fps. Sure graphics could be ultra on the one X though, but low and ultra don't look much different.
-
There was an article awhile back saying the xbox one x was getting resolution and framerate enhancements. Probably not gonna happen though. Console has been overdue for this
