It might be a glitch. You can maybe ask the developers about it.

Maybe verify the game files? You can do this by right clicking Dead by Daylight in your steam library and clicking properties. Next you click Local Files, then Verify Integrity of game files. Wait for that to finish and check if you have the skins once its finished.

You can try and find a different hook or you can spam spacebar. I usually spam spacebar but if that doesn't work for me, I find a different hook.
