If it was a good match and I didn't get abused or mocked as the killer I let them go if they're the last survivor. But if I'm working on an adept achievement you're hooked ASAP. I'm not sadistic enough to do what you mention lmao though I know some are.

Yeah i understand the reasoning, in almost every other game thats what it means but in this game for some reason it doesn't seem to be the case from what i've seen. When I heal someone, they bounce up and down a couple times to say thanks, when the killer lets them escape they do the same. I wish they'd add a thumbs up…

Huh. In my book crouching rapidly was a thank you or "cheers" in this game. Never had an issue with the community on Pc.

If it were to be brought back for console you might as well bring it back for PC so all the new players have the same chance. But still a bad idea. Focus on balance changes and the graphics updates instead of skins.
