I'm sure all those people that glitched into lockers mid chase also just wanted to "relax whilst having a competitive mindset". 3gen Merchant is exploiting poor game/gen location design. It's as simple as that. In my opinion it should be reportable as it's essentially holding the game hostage. It's worse than original…

You and your friend should try Overwatch 2 or Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the time being. It's fun to play for a change and easy to get into.
-
Refresh my memory: Was 6.1 was the patch that: - nerfed gens from 80 to 90 secs - reduced killer animation after a hit - added base regression for kicking gens - nerfed DS - nerfed Dead Hard - reduced pallet break duration etc ?
-
Maybe it's because Xeno is so new but personally I bullied that space beetle so much with those flamethrowers yesterday I couldn't stop laughing. But I guess I just got lucky I didn't match a good Xeno.
-
"90% kill rate still means survivors dominate in a SWF ! REEE SKILL ISSUE REEE"
-
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a fun game. I have been exclusively playing Bubba so far and having a blast. However I can not see myself playing the game for more than a couple weeks since there is no variety. DBD has become stale, too but with a billion perks and killers there's more room for interesting moments.
-
Exhaustion perks are stronger and more impactful - especially when people use them to their full potential like 99'd sprint burst. But people already made up their mind and so have I. Made For This is a good perk but nothing special in my opinion. As killer I rarely even notice the perk and still win most of my games as…
-
As for the topic: Made For This is absolutely fine in every way. People who complain about it are really asking for survivors to go back to using exhaustion perks.
-
If you play Blight you can not complain about anything in the game.
-
This. People always think they are gifted because they somehow manage to do well with a killer that's blatantly lacking even though they're merely winning their games by (to name a sample) camping as a no power M1 killer whilst facing survivors who refuse to trade OR do gens. Like yeah obviously you gonna win those games…
-
All I can say is I have never died to Singularity even though I exclusively play solo queue as survivor.
-
1) why would you unhook someone trying to hook quit? They're obviously not gonna be helpful or thankful after getting forced to play a match they didn't want to play. 2) it will never be bannable to use a feature. 4% is a feature and the skillchecks in struggle are a feature as well. Why would using a feature be bannable?
-
Singularity is not worth the effort. EMPs need to be less accessible and his overclock should also buff movement speed at base. Only then would be be worth playing imo.
-
Not good enough. I still think 3 out of 4 survivors should start the trial hooked and in 2nd phase for optimal balance.
-
Started back when it launched on XBOX One. I still have some old clips that were like 15-30 fps. Feels horrible to watch now. Maps looked so different back then, too.
-
You are absolutely right and the only people denying she's busted are the same people "enjoying" her in that outright unfair state at the expense of survivors. I'm sure the devs are aware but they probably want to hit a certain number of sales before adjusting her power.
-
Imagine Homelander running around a pallet instead of flying above it...
-
Just people exploiting a bug as always. Imo all of them should be banned.
-
After watching many streams of both survivor and killer streamers I'm sure Sadako basically broken. Her mori is the normal outcome in almost every game for most people. I guess the devs really wanted to boost her sale rate. Once everyone bought her she will get nerfed.
-
I rarely play survivor and if I do the killer is usually Wesker or Nurse so I was confused watching them play. All they did was run around looking for active TVs until they got condemned and eventually mori'd. Is it a big deal to find/keep the tapes?
-
I will never understand the nature of people. All they need to do is think for 1 second. Yesterday I played a couple matches after work and a Nicolas Cage got slugged. I immediately remembered there's that new perk to get healed on getting up himself so I only healed him to 99% as it's quicker than normal recovery, then…
-
There really isn't much to say. Everyone with a tiny bit of understanding knows she is similar to "o.g. hostage Doctor". That's a design flaw. Simple as that.
-
He's designed not to harm the crew. Jokes aside Singularity is a very strategic killer similar to hag. You're supposed to place pods where survivors have to be so you can infect them all around the map and teleport. Actually now thinking about it Singularity is basically just a worse Hag since he can't effectively use his…
-
Everyone does that. Why would you give the killer a 4k for free if there's a slight chance your teammate can make it out alive?
-
Always has been ✌️
-
Not sure but I would give it a shot anyways. I like a good challenge. That's why I refuse to play with gen perks.
-
Just... Why...?
-
I mean... Perks often win the game for both sided. It has always been this way since perks are a core element of the game.
-
That's not exactly what I mean. As killer you want to pick and drop chases depending on the survivor's position and health state. You find a good looper who keeps 99-ing sprint burst all game near a loop? Not a chance you will get them quickly especially if they're at full health. You find a "pesky MFT gamer" injured on a…
-
Explain. And please don't come up with straight line calculations now because that's not how you play killer. You don't brainlessly walk after survivors in a straight line.
-
Hot take: Made for this is overrated. Those 3% make little to no difference compared to people using actual exhaustion perks to their full potential.
-
Isn't there a phrase that goes like "misery like company" ?
-
Agreed. Overclock runs out way too quickly at base. By the way do you still main birb lady ? I remember you were fond of her when she was released. Just curious.
-
He is strong and easy to play at the same time.
-
So if I stand still as killer for 100 games resulting in 100 losses it's a balance issue by your logic. No, just no. Both sided should earn their wins. If you are bad you should lose every single game until MMR puts you against players that are at your skill level resulting in even matches.
-
Nurse because 0% counterplay.
-
Not everyone is on PC like streamers. Placing pods on controller is just awful when any tiny movement can turn the location red to name a sample. @ topic: Same. I think his power is too unforgiving considering the reward for successfully using it.
-
If I have fun I win. It's a game and I play it after a stressful day at work. No need to stress myself out over something as trivial as the number of kills in this game.
-
I faced him once when I returned to the game recently. He desperately tried to 3 gen but we all escaped even though I had no idea what his power was or how to play against him. He's high risk / low reward imo. That's why no one plays him.
-
I tried to figure out Singularity yesterday, too. Ended up going against 2 streaming teams on voice coms which made me realize just how weak Singularity is. In one of those two matches I would manage to tag survivors very often but even when you're teleporting and rushing through every pallet/window like a train the chases…
-
I think the bots do not have a programmed reaction time which makes it nearly impossible to test certain killers under realistic conditions. Try Pyramid Head against them and do this for the "lolz": Shoot at them while they are NOT animation locked. They will perfectly dodge the shockwave almost 10/10 times because the…
-
I don't know guys... I know I'm a little rusty as killer since I really haven't played in ages but his power feels so wrong. Last night I played a couple matches and got lucky enough to face a team of tbagging clicky clicky people who I managed to beat but I really only started dominating when I stopped trying to mark them…
-
Watched a stream a couple days ago. A survivor escaped at 3 gens remaining. Nothing has changed. I think the number of subtle cheaters has increased as well.
-
Very weak killer but fun to play as and against imo.
-
If you camp as Bubba you will get an almost guaranteed 2k (1 dies during the match, 1 close to endgame/during endgame) even if survivors are on coms and doing gens right away unless one of the survivors is cheating to do the gens more quickly. A 4 man escape against a Bubba? No, that's not happening unless the Bubba messes…
-
They already nerfed gens. They now take 90 seconds at base which is not fun.
-
When is the change coming ?
-
Perks that buff your injured state are absolutely fine as long as the effect is not anything crazy. 3% movement speed is not insane. I measured a gained distance time of less than 0.5 sec when running from one end of Midwich Elementary School all the way to the opposite wall. That's not a huge effect no matter how you put…
-
Most people will probably not even remember me but I just wanted to say DBD and "some" of the o.g. streamers used to be very meaningful to me. One of the few streamers I really liked was Puppers. I would play his stream on the TV before going bed all the time because he was such a chill and funny person. I can't believe so…
-
Balance = 2 kills / 2 escapes. Blight and Nurse can consistently 4k even against good survivors so they're definitely not balanced. Imo strong chase powers with no mobility takes the place in terms of balance (i.e. Pyramid Head) as they can consistently catch survivors but not defend generators efficiently so against good…
