When I run invocation and complete it early my team almost always escapes with a win. Hint: I run my own proprietary build which greatly increases my success rate while injured. Coupled with invocation, it is probably one of my most successful builds of all time. The few times I lose are actually when another injured…

Did you even read my entire post? What is with the false accusations? I never hold any games hostage!
-
If this was a fair world, people would understand that the survivor can no more hold the game hostage by hiding than the killer can hold the game hostage by not finding them. It shows that the game has serious flaws or at best is biased and killer-centric. Think about it logically. The mission of the killer is to hook or…

Small world indeed. Yes of course I did. If I remember correctly it was on Red forest. Sorry to say. I was doing offerings because the map was new. I hope you enjoyed it also. Even though I know it is not the best map for you. <3
-
I've also played against you, HugTech! And fairly recently too. Unfortunately, I am a bit shy about sharing my actual gaming name. I imagine regular players eventually work through and encounter most other regular players including people on the forums whether we know it or not. :)

I have found when I am in the lobby as a prestige 100, along with someone else who is at least P36 or higher especially if there is also a bald Dwight, I will get one or two killers who will drop the lobby. I sometimes play my baby Claire or Nancy Wheeler and appreciate taking the stress and expectations off of myself.
-
I've definitely played against LilithOmen who was a blight.
-
Deathstroke, I remember I had my feng like p93 and I thought, oh this should only take a week or so to get to 100. And like a month later, here I am. There seem to be bloodpoint pitfalls you run into where you just can't move up very much. I wish you luck.
-
Then again, I play so much, Ive probably played against everyone at least once.
-
LilithOmen? I've played against someone by that name!
-
One of the P100 killers I faced was actually a blight. But it was so long ago I don't remember their name.
-
My p100 is Feng. I was a Claudette main by far. But once they released the whole P100 thing, I had a decision to make. I really felt Feng had too many cute outfits not to prestige her. It is more fun to play a survivor if you have a lot of outfits to choose from.
-
Come to think of it, i've only seen maybe 3 p100 killers. That shows a lot of devotion towards your chosen killer. I wonder if people are more likely to prestige their survivors rather than their killers? If a survivor goes to prestige 100 other survivors and killer can see it in the lobby. But if the killer reaches…

That is really cool Hug TechLover. I definitely don't think my mmr is maxed out to the extent of your blight. Although, I occasionally get P100's in my survivor lobbies. I am way too altruistic as a survivor. I will never ever abandon another player. And I won't leave until everyone is out. I will often risk my life to…

Although you might be shocked how many times the immersed "blendette" type players who only sneaks around the edge of the map will get caught in one of those traps. Sometimes I just have fun just to meme and put them around the edges. It wont necessarily work for most players but it will always work for a certain type of…

I was locked in the generator skill check animation. Even while I was being chased by the killer! Then when the killer hooked me I was in this swimming animation while I was on the hook, and the generator skill check was still showing. There was no way for me to do the hook skill checks, because the generator skill check…

C'mon now. I always figured the offices at DBD were in a real life setting like Lerys Memorial, or the Hawkins lab or at least a life-like replica. Have to create a role playing atmosphere to match the creative output. There should be developers desks shaped like generators, and drinking fountains like the plagues vile…

I felt they needed to do something about scream perks. When I play David it just feels so uncharacteristic for him to run around screaming over ever little inconvenience. He is supposed to be so tough he doesn't even flinch at pain, and can even pick him self up from the dying state. It just feels oddly out of character…

I am not sure dead hard is as good as people think it is. If you needed to use Deadhard to begin with, it probably means the killer is hot on your trail. He will just catch up to you in a few more seconds while you are exhausted. I just like dead hard because it is fun for me to use as a survivor. I like platform games and…

Anyone who reaches Prestige 100 should be able to sit on their own glowing custom throne in the lobby. Its literally miserable going to prestige 100. My fingers are very sad for clicking all those blood web nodes. But to be honest, I feel they should remove the prestige cap entirely. It makes no sense to cap it. Let people…

As it stands currently the DBD report system is basically only for streamers and for people with 20 terabyte hard drives, not for us little folks.
-
I notice it is always the most toxic people who body block and do nothing during the entire game that will say they are going to report you in the endgame chat. I just had a really good game where I got like 28,000 bloodpoints and still died because the character body blocked me like a hockey goalie at the exit gate while…
-
Although to be honest it is not really wishful thinking on my part since I think the new killer is both gorgeous and fun. I would be happy to play her as survivor or killer. It is just my hunch. It is not unreasonable to imagine a killer who has had the tables reversed and is now forced to play as a survivor. I think this…
-
Yes thanks, I corrected that.
-
I don't think having more aura perks makes the game more competitive. Quite the contrary. If anything seeing the survivors auras is like easy mode for killer and vice versa for survivor. It doesn't require any wisdom or game sense. In fact most of the changes recently were simply to make the game more approachable for new…
-
The main reason for this post is that I would really like to compare and contrast Dead Hard versus most other perks. I think it is wonderful to be able to have timing and skillful perks. Most perks just work in the background and don't require any conscious decision or skill. I just wish there were more perks that required…

I have a friend who uses head on all the time. He pairs it with quick and quiet. And he actually uses it quite skillfully to escape the killer. Most of the time the killer doesn't hear them go into the locker and just leaves the loop. And if the killer finds him the correct timing will allow him to possibly get to another…

The Dredge is simply too adorable. He reminds me of my old pet turtle the way he bobs his head up and down. I love him.

Top 3 most wanted licenses: 1. The Addams Family 2. The Addams Family 3. The Addams Family

There were 4 envelopes carried by survivors and the killer had a survivor pudding. What makes this so impressive is that it was not after game bonus score additions, it was during the in game tally. In all the time I have played, I cannot remember a killer getting more than 70,000 bp during the endgame tally and I have…

Thank you for this feedback. I guess it must be just a very lucky situation where the stars and moon align just right. It is just strange because everyone else did really well. Usually that doesn't correspond to a killer who barely got any hooks getting more than double what the rest of us got. I am happy for them. :) I…

Yes, I miss the Hawkins lab map terribly. I actually think about it on a regular basis and wish I could play it. :(
-
Thanks for explaining it in such great detail. For some reason it never really made sense what was meant by "Saving bloodpoints." I had always just turned them in when completed so it wasn't even a possibility to consider. I wish I would have know this also back when we had a 1mil bp cap and the old prestige system. It…

It is really cool that everyone has their own unique style of games they like to play besides DBD. It is not all horror or necessarily even a similar genre. I would never imagine such varied games. Somehow, I never really like to finish most of my favorite games. I feel like I would be really sad if they ended. If they are…
-
Eureka! I finally understand the mystery behind saving bloodpoints. Now that I understand the concept. I can look for that kind of pattern on every tome. :)
-
The consoles never let you check but if you are like the rest of us you probably have at least a thousand plus. For example, on steam, if I had to guess I would think my DBD playtime was around 600 but in reality it is like 2000 lol
-
I guess perhaps I already did the tome challenges sporadically enough to where I ever even noticed there was a need to save the challenges. At first the whole idea seemed kind of alien to me. Lately, the game has been awash in bloodpoints, so rather than letting them build up to where it is a chore to spend them, I spend…
-
@HugTheHag You are like me. I am almost exclusively a single player game person, except for dbd. Some others in the comment section have listed games that rival or exceed DBD, but those are all multi-player games.
-
I have heard this noise as well. It is almost like a deep sounding car door or large cabinet closing or something like that. Almost like when recording the ambient sound for the map or a certain killer, someone slammed a door shut. And now it is forever memorialized in the game map recordings.
-
Thanks everyone. I love the input. It is so intriguing seeing what other games fellow dbd players have played. It is still interesting how single player games cannot compare in terms of hours played. I wonder if it is because people like interacting with real humans in online games, or the story basically ends and there is…
-
Could someone please explain the concept of saving bloodpoints? For some reason it all seems so esoteric to me. What are the red lines, and what are the yellow circles. Does this mean you can complete the challenges without accepting the rewards? Or does it mean you skip those challenges for later. Thank you in advance.
-
That makes sense SuperYoshi. But still DBD manages to hold its own against GTA V. It is amazing how DBD keeps drawing us in to play more. The gameplay is not all that varied. Yet there is something about it that I find it quite exhilarating compared to other games.
-
I should say I also played a lot of single player horroresque games like Outlast, Dishonored, Prey or Evil Within. Which are amazing, but they usually only last like 30 hours or less. Not even comparable to DBD in replay value.
-
@Superyoshiegg Interesting you have more than double the gameplay in DBD as compared with GTA V! DBD is definitely doing something right.
-
I wish some of my favorite single player games would have released updates as frequently as DBD. I could play some of them forever like Assassins Creed Black Flag.
-
@Aven_Fallen that seems to be about my experience with single player games from 100 to 400 hours seems to be about the range. They don't dont usually have the constant updates like multiplayer games to sustain thousands of hours. Although I do know many people with thousands of hours in Skyrim and Fallout 4. But those…
-
I am the opposite of most everyone here it seems. I came from exclusively single player game campaigns pretty much, without ever playing online games, and now play tons of DBD. But I still go back to my old single player favorites, and play the latest single player games, but in terms of hours it just doesn't compare to…
-
Interesting. So it seems like online games are able to keep people coming back for more, especially versus solo player. I suspected that might be the case. Although if an open world game is immersive enough, I can usually play for hundreds of hours. I don't find too many I would imagine I could play for like 2000 hours.…
-
Yes I agree. There is something about being able to play a quick game of DBD with other real humans versus a single player game that really lends itself to replay-ability. It is not necessarily better. Just perhaps more conducive to playing a lot.
