Don't worry about it too much, some people feel entitled to a rescue because they either feel they are too good to of been caught or feel they deserve a save. I'm a survivor main with ttv in my name but I basically invented humble pie, don't get me wrong I can get as mad as the next person at a bad game but don't blame…
-
Ok thank you for your reasoning I get where you are coming from I just feel that doing that creates an unfair system that only the killer can take advantage of as hooks are approachable from 180 degree angles and nothing else is blockable without getting hit, I appreciate your time explaining though and makes a difference…
-
Well I can do well with him and don't rely on iridescent add one to do so, I could even play with no add one and still win so what am I missing here?
-
I was on a pallet so no not if he didn't body block, not saying he shouldn't get a hit but if he didn't block he wouldn't of got it mega early twice.
-
I don't have to do that as wraith to win, as I said bad killers.
-
Not if he over took me last minute and used that to down me, he saved time if anything and got a down in the process.
-
That's not possible because you have to do the relevant actions to do so, admittedly you get red ranks who make bad decisions but can't be terrible by principal of doing what's needed to rank up.
-
Not at all you just avoid it, it's called "going round" or "leaving distance" between you and the survivor and most Normal killers do that. If you get hit everytime as a killer I feel bad for you.
-
Protection hits aren't body blocking because you are trading time for an injury, not one person is solely gaining from it like body blocking.
-
It very much helps them win especially in the case I just had so my proof is in the experience, he done it both times and it got me downed much quicker then if he didn't. It's desperate gameplay at best and virtually cheating at worst.
-
I'm a red rank survivor so that's the least of my worries, killers need to "git gud" as you say and play properly.
-
No because that player is completing an intended objective to win and regardless as to who doesn't it that will not change the result. Body blocking does.
-
Better ask them to remove body blocking off their repot options then because until they do I'm reporting it each time.
-
No because that's an intended mechanic, you get points for doing that so a bit of a pointless comparison. If you got points for doing it fair enough but it's a reportable action and you don't get points for it.
-
Lol troll, I'm legit serious right now. You can tell most of these comments are coming from killer mains, I don't body block as a general rule because I know how toxic it is.
-
Why is it reportable then if it's a legal tactic? You might say taking the game hostage or sandbagging but it changed the narrative of the game completely simply because he body blocked, if it was an intended strategy you would get points for doing it.
-
Yeah he's still solid because you graphically can't remove a intended solid object it's just the coding changes his intended look, it's scummy to do.
-
It's still not ok though it's in the report options in the after game summery, the wraith is pretty strong imo and doesn't need to block like that and shouldn't, no one should.
-
If you go to the report option at the summery of a game and look under the trolling option it's there in writing, taking a hit is receiving a penalty for the action not a one way negative for one player.
-
That's not stopping you from moving and taking a hit isn't body blocking, now if they were to block a choke point while you were in a chase on purpose that's body blocking because you have no other option to go round or hit them and lose your intended target. I would support you on that if it happened because it's scummy.
-
You say that but it's a reportable offence, he ignored me initially to block the pallet and being wraith was faster then me by miles while invis.
-
There is a report option for body blocking so it's definitely considered unfair practice, he wouldn't of had the hit so early if he didn't do that and ignored me to get a head to purposely block.
-
Right so running to a pallet to use on the wraith while he is invis and he purposely gets in my way to block it is not toxic? Body blocking is reportable and what's acceptable to you doesn't mean it's not acceptable in general. He ignored a hit to block me then hit me, it's a scummy tactic.

I play 100% survivor, I used to play killer alot but realised survivors can be super harsh and have all the perks that virtually make it as hard as possible to get a hook. I enjoy survivor more as I play the survivor role really well too, I used to main trapper and did it very well but hate the stress that comes with it. I…
-
That is exactly what I'm talking about, it's a huge crutch for bad killers regardless of what perks you run.
-
I do all that but it's not always possible to find all the totoms before the gens are finished.
-
As I said in a previous post it's usually crutch killers like spirit, legion, ghost face and the huntress that use them and people think they are good with it. I use no crutch perks and support removing crutch perks because it ruins the game by eliminating basic fair play.
-
Not at all, as I said in a previous comment if there are abused perks remove them. If you need crutch perks you're not as good as you think weather it be survivor or killer.
-
Usually I'm running Dwight with self care, botany knowledge, spine chill and prove thyself or Claudette with self care, botany knowledge, we'll make it and empathy.
-
Go for it lol I have never used it anyway and support the removal of abused perks and totoms because it proves it gives you an unfair advantage.
-
Do you know how many games I've been in that someone is hooked in the first minute then some idiot gets downed trying to rescue them. You have no choice sometimes because half the time the other 2 will focus the hooked survivor, it really frustrates me.
-
No actually, unless I'm running Dwight with my gen build no I'm not gen rushing because I'm rank 4 and doing that practically kills advancing your rank. I try do as much as possible when it presents itself.
-
I'm usually the only one doing totoms on my team because if one isn't active alot of people tend to walk by them and if I'm using all my time looking for bones I'm not helping with gens which increases chances of a loss anyway. It's a really strong hex that requires nothing for it to work apart from a free totom.
-
Yes I agree, if it's a perk that gets abused/taken advantage of I 100% support the removal of them. I don't use none of those perks so wouldn't bother me in the slightest.
-
It's not balanced because you can go through the whole game and lose 2 people to general play, say you get the gates going and killer has NOED he downs one of you your basically stuck especially if the gates are close together. What do you expect people to do when no matter what you can get one hit?
-
This is what I try do but by the end of the game it could be only 2 of you left, once one of you are down it's basically game over.
-
It shouldn't be a free win for a ok killer or free kills for a bad one either so your point is invalid, it's not balanced in anyway.
-
I'm not a big ego survivor at all, don't use flashlights and in fact think they are useless and expect a challenge but not a almost guaranteed loss.
-
It's not like that with me think about it, you have played a full game and anywhere from one to three people could be caught already and others could be on their last hook. It's game breaking because if you have a decent killer or above its practically a guaranteed win for them.
-
Adrenaline doesn't hand you an advantage like NOED does, nowhere near.
-
Lol that's a fair point 😂 I try do totoms but to get them all can be pretty hard while trying to help with gens too, especially if your team are pretty trash.
-
That's like having a perk where if all survivors are on their last hook the gates open automatically, it's abit of a bad point of view to have because your rewarding potentially bad players.
-
Then you got killers like the spirit, hag and trapper that can make getting to gates impossible, it really shouldn't be allowed on all killers.
-
That sounds more reasonable, most strong hex's need hooks or hits to get better but that just full on works.
-
I mean that makes sense in theory but you don't know it's on til one of you are clouted with it, no Comms too doesn't help.
-
Oh I do but most times you will miss at least one so it still activates, it's such an easy hex to win with ( or at least get half the team before they even open a gate )
-
When a killer can down an entire team within the minute the gates are on it's not about it being helpful, it breaks the game.
-
Yeah with all that listed you could go round and get all the totoms but that's focusing totoms with your entire character, I run either gen fixer or healer builds so would disrupt my entire style of play for one hex 😕
-
Yeah working it that way dies leave a concrete value, maybe they have their own reasons for using words instead of numbers but imo doesn't really matter it just is what it is. I would understand in a game like the division for solid numbers but in DBD it's not really a fine tuning game so......
-
Sort of what I was saying a bit further up but explained in a different execution, I think the worded rather then the numbered increases were ment to simplify things but people like to know exactly what they are getting lol.
