Ok and no one said that anyone said you can't disconnect. The argument is, once again, that it is a dumb rule that is not healthy for the game. It causes people to stop playing and then the player base dwindles. Then whose forums will you scream nonsense at ppl on? Like why are you so hostile about an opinion? I obey the…
-
The original argument he was making was that the dc penalty is dumb because it is a rule that makes ppl not want to play the game and you're arguing with the sentiment, "if you don't like it, play something else". ...Really? I can attest to the original argument as I used to play this game heavily. Like everyday i was on…
-
Lol "smack talk"? Why don't you learn what smack talk is before you go telling ppl not to do it. I only listed survivor nerfs. You sound illiterate. This part is to both of you since you COMPLETELY missed my point. I'm not talking about whether the nerfs were necessary or not. I disagree with some and agree that some were…
-
All exhaustion perks nerfed Loops shortened DS nerfed Healing speed nerfed Auras nerfed (by undetected status) Window vaults nerfed Flashlights nerfed to hell EGC is massively killer sided Just a few things to keep in mind when ppl say the devs are survivor sided. Meanwhile, killers been getting buffs and maps reworked to…
-
Yes, the reveal distance should always match the stalk distance. Allowing him to stalk from a distance that a survivor can't reveal him is just gross. He doesn't even have to sneak because all you can do is try to hide behind a cover while he gradually stalks and gets closer OR run and let him expose you while you're…
-
This is how it has worked on EW1 michael since his release and what I assumed would happen with every killer but for some reason, it didn't. That was also weird cause the wraith was already in the game, yet OoO revealed him when cloaked but not michael? Why would they not have that work for both stealth killers in the game…
-
A fun chase is different from ghostface freely sneaking around and cheesing out insta-downs while I'm doing a gen, going for a save or healing a teammate. Maybe that's fun when playing killer but I like a lil bit of reaction time before a red circle appears out of nowhere and gf (still having no terror radius) popping out…
-
Yes I have and usually the player using OoO gets camped and/or tunneled. Even when I run it, I don't go in in expecting to survive. I just want some fun chases. What I don't like is how killers in "undetected" status can still see your aura with object. It's just free wall hacks for stealth killers with NO downside. If…
-
Removed? Like you can see the survivor at all times. Can't even look around while healing without revealing your location. It's also not very commonly used perk. You should be able to eliminate the one survivor giving you free wall hacks every 20 games and if not, it's a skill issue, not Object being OP.
-
Ok distortion with sole survivor is WAAAY different than object being straight up broken. You get FREE wall hacks THE WHOLE GAME. Not to mention, your distortion/sole surv would take up 3 perk slots just for distortion to work 3 times. If you are really trying to justify that as fair you're the reason that some killer…
-
Old exhaustion helped buy survivors time IF they could get two uses in one chase which most survivors could not. Old ruin bought killers more time without them having to do anything. Old exhaustion served the same purpose but survivors had to earn theirs by doing well in a chase. Now you're trying to justify one side cause…
-
They blocked off infinites, shortened loops and killers still have bloodlust. Besides its not like the average survivor can even stay up long enough to get two dead hards or sprint bursts in one chase. It used to go down much slower when running. Not to mention exhaustion addons that can completely render all exhaustion…
-
DS buffed? On what planet? The fact that there's a timer at all is a huge nerf. Its called slugging. It works. Even if they stun you, how hard is it to down most survivors again? Object of obsession still shows the survivor aura when in undetected. That's straight up broken. If auras are blocked they should be blocked for…
-
I don't agree because before this one ruin nerf, most of the balance changes were nerfs against survivors. Exhaustion nerf, DS nerfed, undetected status (nerfing OoO, spine chill alert etc.), shortened loops, window vault speeds nerfed, pallet vacuums gone and the end game collapse literally gives us kills. It's kind of…
-
Killers get old ruin back when survivors get old exhaustion back. Deal?
-
I think it's a fair counterplay. Survivors only get one DH per chase since the exhaustion nerf so using it to dodge ONE trap one time isn't really a big deal. It can buy a survivor a couple seconds but you still have exhaustion add-ons, bloodlust, a good setup (if you get cute with trap placement), 4 perk slots, and…
-
When you see survivors doing that, it's probably because either way they get exposed while running away. You act like cover is just anywhere but 9 times out of 10 you get exposed before you're properly hidden and it's not like you can reveal him from behind cover. He just follows and finishes filling it up if he didn't get…
-
First of all, nobody "acts stupid" when they can't reveal him from a mile away because he can expose you from a mile away. Yes even when you're "RuNnInG iNtO HiDiNg" it's not hard to stay behind obstacles and cheese it out while we're running. Second, that's not "what I do" I'm using that as a extreme example of what you'd…
-
What you're describing might be how it's supposed to work but it's not reality. And even if it was, you'd have to run around the cover to START the reveal by that time you're exposed. That's also one situation you're describing most of the time he doesn't even need cover because the detection sucks. Plus he can stalk from…
-
Actually it's not. I'm red ranks and have played against cheeseface many times. The dectection never works the same way twice in a row. Not to mention he's stalking the whole time so the red circle pops up while you're trying to get the right angle.
-
All of the "just reveal him" and "just break him out of it is waaay easier said than done. Y'all know good and well that he detection on him is all messed up and doesn't reveal him until after you're already exposed most of the time. That's without his add-ons that stop detection from a certain distance for maximum cheese.
-
That's cheeseface for you: Cheap insta-downs, with no counterplay. They shouldn't have to camp/tunnel but they do and still complain that he's "average" or "weak". His counterplay WAS Object but that was nerfed because ironically, ppl can't tunnel the pink glowey person and they cried for nerfs. So now you just sit and…
-
If by arguing over nothing, you mean you backpedaling by resorting to typos cause you can no longer back up your points then yes.
-
Again, you make it seem like the idea of an alt account is soo farfetched in 2019. Like it's so unlikely that it could NEVER happen. see how sarcasm works both ways? Also the fact the the other account was new was a sign and that you felt the need to "admit" it in the first comment shows guilt. "I'm pretty new around here…
-
Jesus you're that worried everyone will see how obvoius it is now? You're just had to comeback and try to downplay it even though you were tired of arguing before. That's another dead giveaway.
-
Agreed. Just be less obvoius next time, even down to the cringey fedora tipping "witty joke" style "I'm tagging you in" "No way it's my heel turn" It all sounds like a bad creepypasta dialogue. It certainly has been bizzare. Goodnight.
-
But you're acting like I'm the ONLY one in here. Agression? You started with me witn both of your accounts. On page one someone uses the phrase "mindless killer mains". Every thread on this forum is loaded with that. You're just mad cause you got publicly proven wrong and called out on trying to twist my words.
-
If by "nothing" you mean it's to the point that you can no longer back up your points so you back paddle by resorting to pointing out typos, then yes.
-
The second quote was to your other account which you conveniently ignored cause you're wrong.
-
Yea cause having two accounts is so unheard of. You probably do this alot.
-
Yoh even type the same, and bring up the hyppcrite babies thing in quotes and everything. At least change up the writing style between accounts so its less obvoius and cringey.
-
Who were you arguing with then? Because if that's the case then you were the one with the strawman on page one? And you were the one that brought up the other thread trying to twist my words into your strawman narrative and now that you can't it's irrelevant cause they aren't here? Lol
-
You're "pretty new" because its a fake account made up by the guy arguing with me so you have someone to agree with you after you've been arguing with everyone here since page 1 of this thread. It's obvious and embarrassing. Also, my comment didn't quote anyone, as stated many times yet I was adressed first. But I'm the…
-
Thats simply not true. The other thread is about ppl using dead hard too much and making a point against it so how are they defending it? I think I would know they're MY discussions. Now, conveniently, we're focusing on this thread and some strawman that you think I made up. Did the other ppl who made similar sentiments…
-
This is what you said regarding the other post, copy and pasted: "ALSO post on the other thread defending the use of deadhard. Of the 3 pages...not 1 person." But now they're suddenly defending instadowns and also defending hard? Try again. "Other than me" dude, I only need it to me you to have someone to argue against.…
-
Wait, you said not one in the other thread, despite the fact that I quotes them. You won't address that now? And in this thread "other than me" implies at least one person, which is enough to validate my response
-
I'm literally quoting the ppl arguing againt it in the other thread so how has no one made the argument? Again are you slow or illiterate? You've been all triggered, arguing with ppl in this thread since page one so idk why youre acting like everyone is in agreement here. By all means, keep trying. You talk yourself into a…
-
Well you must be reading a different thread, buddy. I'm agreeing with OP and this is a discussion thread. Unless everyone here is also agreeing with OP (which they're not) you're wrong.
-
And having a killer that can sneak around, cheese out instadowns and has no counterplay, even if said counterplay is high risk and only good against stealth killers is also no fun and ruins survior points. To balance the entire game around red rank swf is horribly unfair as that is such a small percentage of matches and…
-
I clearly said "for a the killer mains arguing for their instadowns". That means the ones that believe their instadowns are fine yet do cry about the perks I listed because they give health states. That's the definition of a hypocrite. Understand me now?
-
What's the difference? I'm making the same point.
-
phIsIcAlLy ImPoSsIbLe lol. I'm pretty sure killer were getting 4ks just fine before the nerfs. I promise it's just you and the other baby killers getting outplayed that cry about it.
-
For all the killer mains arguing for their instadowns, don't complain about Mettle Of Man, Borrowed Time and Dead Hard. You wanna cheese out health states all day but cry until survibor perks gets nerfed cause you can't learn to counter play. Hypocrite babies.
-
It absolutely is. Against a GOOD killer, you're getting tunneled down and done in the first few minutes. You can't even look around while you heal without exposing your position. If you can't tunnel down a single survivor with the shortened loops, exhaustion nerfs, lack of pallet vacuums, vault nerfs AND bloodlust the…
-
They already are weaker. Object of Obsession lets you tunnel the survivor the whole game on a killer that can cheese out health states. What they did was take out the only counter we have and there's a difference. If Object of Obsession and freakin Spine chill are giving yoh that much trouble the perks aren't the problem.…
-
You think running Object is easy mode cause you can just throw down all the pallets.... Trust me, l don't look like the fool here;)
-
And waste all the pallets on the map so you can easily kill everyone else? If you're getting destroyed by pallets that easily hate to say it but it sounds like you're just bad. You have bloodlust, shortened loops and no vacuums anymore. Learn to mindgame buddy. I promise pallets won't be an issue for you anymore.
-
Not true. Your job as killer is to pressure the map, deny gens and extend your own clock. You have as much time as your skill allows you to have. The longer the match goes on, the more our chances of escaping drop especially as teammates die and other hide, do nothing and/or farm eachother. Most games usually go to hatch…
-
Well not to sound rude, but If you can't tunnel down the one rare person running object every 50 games and need to cry about it being nerfed you are just being outplayed.
-
This. To the tenth power, this. And with this new undetectable bull, it's even easier for cheeseface to take a health state from survivors constantly. God forbid we get a health state ONCE per match under certain circumstances. This game is getting less fun for survivors with every patch.
