That’s part of the idea, incentivizing killers to queue as survivors. Old Friday the 13th had options where you could skew your chances of being the randomly selected Jason. Town of Salem has offering-like items that skew your role odds.

Don’t think so. Old Town of Salem has text, and new Town of Salem has voice. I’ve played a lot of new Salem and with consistent groups, and unless it’s someone with really bad tells, it’s always a guessing game. And then if you guess wrong… Doesn’t Among Us also have voice now?

Also doing my first killer matches today for the tome. Survivors have gotten a lot better at playing, but I still won first two games, and then got kicked from server during the third. Been playing Wraith and he is too fast for me. I dominated my first match and got 39k points, but I think that’s because I was with a…

As someone who mains Wraith since the Freddy disaster if I want to be killer, he is a mind games killer. I win my games by being smarter than survivors. They are suicidally altruistic and will often unhook with 10 seconds, meaning I haven’t even had time to kick the generator and leave the area, so I’m right there…

Survivors are playing 2v8 to farm altruism. Trying to escape is a secondary objective. If BP was rewarded based on team play, then it might be different. It just exacerbates the problems of 1v4.

On Saturday, my internet was laggy and playing survivor was depressing. So I went full nice killer (Bing Bong) with just BP farming perks, dropping people at the closest generator like “Come get your Dwight and do this generator,” or letting them wiggle off if their team was ignoring them. Sure, not everyone liked it, but…

Big fan of the last one, especially since you could escape solo if your team was just there to dick around. And a coordinated group could stop the killer. 2v8 reminds me a lot of FT13, except miserable to play.

”Why are queue times so long for this role I chose to play as? Why don’t more survivors want to play a terrible game so that I can have fun at their expense?”
-
3pm on a Saturday, 350% survivor bonus. Last three standing picking each other up multiple times just so the killers can get a mori. You hijacked the match and then complain about long queue times. I’m not supporting this toxic behavior.

Everyone crying about generator speed is a killer main who hasn’t bothered to play survivor. Your sample size is incredibly small and does not represent the world at large. You get to see the generator when 2 or more people are on it. That’s literally every generator on these maps. You’re losing those gens because you…

Wow, what arrogance. “I have 7 other people I’m communicating with through third party software. The game is fine and those other people are just bad.” Your sample size does not reflect real life.

Altruism is the only reliable category that a survivor is going to get BP from. Just like in normal mode, gens give way too little BP, you get get no BP if you don’t escape, and chases are non-existent because killers are overturned and the maps weren’t designed for this. All the survivors are basically just fighting each…

Hard disagree. Game mode is not fun. It’s just survivors farming altruism because that’s the only reliable source of BP and then escaping is a secondary objective. Every toxic trait you might find in a 1v4 is just doubled. Killers are overtuned and it’s the same combos and tunneling over and over. None of these maps were…

To all the killers crying on various forums: Survivor is not fun, at all. Same problems as normal games. People intentionally trolling, dropping pallets when no one is around, intentionally failing skill checks (like every time I'm with that person on a gen or heal, they fail). Points mainly come from altruism, actually…
