The challenge in Tome 4 I was most "worried" about is completing 3 safe unhooks during end game. Unless you're working with the killer, is that even possible?

an Ornyo is a "vengeful spirit" which is what Rin is based off of. The new killer will most likely be based off of Japanese demon lore. With Oni being Male, and Hannya being Female. It will be interesting to see which side they go with.
