I'd say that the Entity allows the repaired generators to activate the escape doors. It does control the trials after all. So the answer to your question is yes. 😂1 -

Unfortunately there's no way to limit these actions without harming gameplay. If you can't swing near a hook, how do you stop a save? And if you can't crouch, how do you dodge hatchets…1
