Old Demogorgon chase music. I could be wrong, but I don't believe it's in DBD anymore which makes me sad. ☹️
-
I 100% agree. While his height gives him an advantage, it just means you have to pay more attention in game which adds a good scare factor. I really think he's the perfect balance of fun and lethal. And how can you get mad with those voicelines he has? I've thoroughly enjoyed my matches against the Chuck, win or lose.
-
Terrible survivor here, who just started playing again after a 2 month break. I really don't understand the complaints about Chucky. Slice and Dice is like any other charge up Killer power, align yourself correctly around tiles/prepare for it, and you can counter it. As for looping, he still has a red stain. You have to…

Probably 80/20 in favor of Survivor, mostly because Killer is a completely different game. I prefer the chase, tension, and teamwork aspect of Survivor in solo queue (crazy, I know). But I play Killer from time to time to enjoy just the simple act of playing as Myers, Pig, Demo, or Leatherface.
-
Gen kick meta was likely the easiest it's ever been, but Killer is in a better spot now than it has been for most of DBD's lifespan. There's still some work that needs to be done though, as always will be, with add-on changes, buffs for weaker Killers, and one or two Survivor perks needing adjustments.
-
For Survivor it's Tapp, I like being the reason why someone saw a Tapp in game. I am bad though, so sorry I'm not a cracked one. For Killer it's Pig, Demo, and Myers. I love those 3 franchises the most out of the DBD selection. And most everyone loves seeing a Demo in general, or a Pig that's not running THAT cosmetic…
-
I just love Alan Wake. Otherwise, it'd be an easy Andy Barclay. Those are probably my 2 most wanted licenses.
-
Alan Wake. Maybe the 2nd game will provide more traction for its inclusion in DBD. Because as of now, I don't think it's big enough to make it. But I'd love to see that change.
-
Failure how they are now. While re-working or eliminating them, they could at least allow the killer to burst through them almost instantly. That would at least give them a scare factor and not be as much of a hindrance.
-
To echo most of everyone else, it depends on if I had fun. Just to get one teammate to escape as a survivor feels like a win even if I died, due to your typical teammates. And to get 2 kills feels like a win if I had fun and the survivors weren't BM'ing, but hook stages come into play if the team was good or was a SWF.…
-
Alan Wake. Survivor - Alan Wake. Killer - Ranged Taken skin for Huntress and Assault Chainsaw Taken skin for Hillbilly. I don't think any enemy variants would work for a whole killer on their own.
-
The problem isn't if people play just one side, you should play what you enjoy. But it's those people then trying to force/promote balance changes based off of incomplete or biased information. I play mostly Survivor, never played Killer before a year or so ago, so my early takes were clearly flawed. My opinions now may…
-
I think Nic Cage is a way to bring a survivor in with skin and meme potential to make some major $. In the same vein, Jack Black would be a great addition. He better have a Kyle Gass skin though.
-
This is just a teaser for the anniversary chapter reveal being Candyman. "Not the bees! Ahhhh!"
-
You're not alone! Whether Original or Licensed, I need some teaser or something. And although there are only 3 Twins players (1 of which I faced last night for only my 3rd time), we desperately need their rework. I need some reason to try out Twins again. And I'm hoping for some kind of license honestly. We've had Original…
-
Sure, that sucks when it happens. But you shouldn't be guaranteed an escape, that's why you needed your teammates to stay in the game to use your perk. They didn't, that's their fault, not the game or yours. That's just kinda how it happens sometimes, especially with DBD and Solo Queue.
-
I'd say that the Entity allows the repaired generators to activate the escape doors. It does control the trials after all. So the answer to your question is yes. 😂
-
I'm glad I'm not the only one dying for an Alan Wake chapter/collaboration. Even if just a skin for one of the Suvivors we have now. I'd main Alan Wake forever if he came to DBD.
-
Unfortunately there's no way to limit these actions without harming gameplay. If you can't swing near a hook, how do you stop a save? And if you can't crouch, how do you dodge hatchets, knives, tentacles, etc in certain situations? So you just kinda deal with it and move on to the next game.
-
FOV slider, and in return, rework Shadowborn. There's enough complaints about Killer FOV to warrant this change, for balance and health reasons.
-
I'm fine with an Original or Licensed Chapter, we just need a fun, strong Killer, and decent Perks for both sides.
-
There's nothing quite like DBD. I've only played a few times in 2 years after quitting, but always kept DBD on my PS4 knowing I'd come back to it. Not often that happens. And despite all the current complaints, it has still been fun knocking the dust off my (minimal) skills the past few nights.
-
First time back on the forums in awhile for me, and this was a great first read. Thank you for sharing, and thank you to the moderators for keeping this pinned. ❤
-
I think it's in a good spot now. Requires more skill and actually has a counter in most situations. And no one brings up having to mend afterwards. Unless this was changed and I missed it, having to Mend is slowdown for the gains you get from the perk. At the very least, it's 100% more balanced from how Dead Hard used to…
-
As annoying as this situation can be when it happens to me as killer, Sabo does not need another nerf.
-
He needs some help. I didn't and still don't exactly like playing as or against him, but he needs to be stronger than he is currently. With his ads nerf, he could use a reload speed buff for starters.
-
This is why you're probably my favorite commenter on this forum. ❤
-
Demo. He and Steve are why I bought the game, and I love playing him more now that he's an "exclusive" character.
-
Pig easy. Doesn't matter how attractive her irl actress is, her squeals in DBD while being stunned are adorable.
-
Never thought of that, honestly. I personally played a SWF for the first time ever as a 4 man the other night and saw how powerful SWF can be first hand. While I think your thought here is not a bad idea, because I understand the power a SWF holds, I think most SWF players would see a debuff as a punishment for playing…
-
I wouldn't call voice comms an exploit, myself. But I fully understand what you mean with the rest of the post, and 100% agree.
-
I just want an Alan Wake chapter, but the Killer would be difficult since there aren't many stand-outs in the IP. My best idea would be the Tele-Flanker, who would have a fast movement speed mechanic like in game, but give them the ability to throw hatchets like the regular Flanker, and they could be a mix between…
-
In most situations, yes I agree with you. Easy to wait out 5 seconds. But Noed activates after gens are done. If you want it to deactivate after 2 downs, you're probably expecting to have at least a 3rd survivor ready for saves, or else this change wouldn't matter. So after the 2nd down, killer is hooking while the other…
-
I think the issue is you can't really nerf SWF without nerfing soloq, which isn't great as is. And like you said, you shouldn't punish people for playing with friends. The solution is getting soloq as close to SWF as possible with icons of what you're doing/quick communication texts, then balancing killers around that. But…
-
Noed is in a pretty good spot, I don't think it needs more nerfs. Then it really would be useless, considering the base kit BT survivors have now. Once noed would deactivate, saves would be pretty free in endgame with this change. Which is the whole point of noed, to help in end game.
-
I really just want The Thing and a Werewolf for Killers, Alan Wake for Survivor.
-
This is a really interesting idea. There'd be tons of balance changes needed which is probably why we won't get something like this, which is sad. But it would be a great way to change the gameplay up and feel a lot less stale.
-
+1. I did that on Lery's once months ago before Dredge and I'm still mad about it lol.
-
I'll make the same comment here that I made on his video, but expand a bit. If you hate being tunneled, you're LIKELY not efficient at looping. I hated being tunneled until I knew how to handle it. And once you know how to loop, you're likely not going to be tunneled, unless a killer wants to practice their chasing against…
-
I didn't even know it cost anything to prestige until I saw this. Tells you how much I pay attention, but wow that's silly.
-
I think it's mostly about just removing/balancing the overpowered or overly safe loops, and making more 50/50s. I can't speak for everyone, but I feel the amount of unsafe pallets are mostly pretty good. It's just removing the amount of god pallets, changing them in some way to be closer to 50/50. It allows for skill to be…
-
This is probably a stupid question, but can you only do one or the other, and that's it? Or can you do the killer side and survivor side of the challenge, and contribute 80 total?
-
Your bias is showing. Spoken like a true (insert side you don't like here) main.
-
Now that Spirit has directional phasing sounds, I really don't know why Stridor hasn't been reverted to counter IW again.
-
Big brain plays.
-
Playing immersed as movie accurate Amanda?
-
I think the issue is that he doesn't really have a power to incorporate into DBD. Granted, I haven't read the book (yet) and have only seen the movie once, years ago.
-
I promise I'm not making fun, you can feel how you feel about it. But that title is hilarious.
-
I was an entitled survivor main (shocker). Like others have said playing both sides helps. I was afraid to play killer originally, so deep down I knew it was harder than I made it out to be for killers. Getting ran 5 gens by bot Dwight in the tutorial was humbling to say the least (Yes, I'm terrible at this game). But…

Through all the COH threads right now, THIS is the one I've waited for. Never change. ❤
