  I personally feel that if he shoots you with his gun and the chain breaks that you should not be inflicted with deep wound.

  I feel that it is balanced where it is at if not ever so slightly in need of a buff. The ability to heal without a med kit is very useful, however the time that it takes to do is pretty substantial.
