No it encourages tunneling and efficient plays. If killer wants it they should memorize it. That's a part of effort and commitment and shouldn't be given for free4 -

The particular case of doing the wrong thing and avoiding bad consequences doesn't debunk the whole concept that doing that wrong thing generally lead to bad consequences2
