They don’t mean when someone rage quits. OP is talking about when the server crashes and kicks someone/everyone out of the game, negating their points and wasting their time.1 -

In the instance of surrendering in DBD, it means you understand the game is lost and you would prefer to move on rather than be held hostage or hit with a matchmaking ban. It’s not a ‘win faster’ opt…1 -

Give the survs points to the killer? Wouldn’t that just encourage more slugging and griefing? Wouldn’t that discourage survs from surrendering and thus forcing them to waste their time slugged, which…10 -
