I’ve seen it as low as 50% for 2v8 surv. I tried queuing up for killer then, and it still took 13 minutes. No idea why BHVR is being stingy with the BP incentive.

Lucky. Takes me at least 7 minutes just to find a lobby for killer 1v4, and that doesn’t include the lobby timer itself nor the loading times.

Well, if you care about points, there is still one reason: you can play an entire game of 2v8 as survivor in the time it would take you to find one lobby in 1v4. Your points per game might be better with the latter, but your points per hour is still higher with the event.

Haddonfield is waaay too small. I’m all for reducing the size of the maps that are too big, but this is overkill.

Lmao ‘skill ceiling’. This implies console users are too incompetent to flick with Oni; it’s literally not possible! And since console users have no choice but to use a controller, fairness should take precedence over what is essentially a bug.

I agree with many of the comments that most map offerings deserve to be dodged, especially considering there is no penalty for it. I would LOVE for BHVR to share how often games with map offerings don’t make it past the offering or loading screen.

What? This game was originally designed and released for PC. It didn’t come out on console til about a year later. IMO that’s why MnK will always be a superior control scheme to use, it was literally designed for it, and I assume that’s how all the devs play the game.

Typically, rifts last for 10 weeks (70 days), some of them have been 12 weeks (84 days). This current rift is 16 weeks (112 days). I assume it’s so the devs don’t get stuck working over the holidays. I prefer shorter rifts, but this one is full of awesome skins, I bet they wanna give everyone a chance to unlock them.

Same experience as several others in this thread: minor BP incentive for survivor, queue takes 3+ minutes; no incentive for killer, finds a lobby in <30 seconds.

More players sounds better in a vacuum, or for a symmetrical game. But DBD needs a 4:1 ratio, so it doesn’t do any good if tens of thousands of people come to the game but they all wanna play killer; queue times suffer game-wide. Should the devs remove basement hooks? Hooks on hills? There are inherently hooks throughout each map that are more dangerous to be upon for survivor and easier to defend as killer.

IIRC, if you're close enough to hear the surv scream, you will not get a sound bubble, but if they are not close enough to be heard, a bubble will tell you where they screamed. Agree. Some people argue that anything is better than 4 slowdown perks, but I personally find a full aura-reading Nurse/Blight/Billy/Spirit/Huntress/etc match much more insufferable.

Obviously. That’s why I mentioned the other factors that influence it besides flat numbers of people. I can and do have a totally different matchmaking incentive from someone else who lives in the same US state and plays at the same time because our MMR is so different.

Not only is the matchmaking incentive affected by region and time, MMR influences it too. The last few nights, with the double BP, I’ve seen +100% bonus for killer most of the night (9 pm to 4 am, NA West-ish). No one’s experience with the matchmaking incentive is universal.

At this point I would be fine with the devs gutting the box/chain hunt if it meant the chains that I aim and shoot weren’t so weak and easy to break. Certain addons being basekit would be great, but I would cry actual tears of joy if Pinhead stopped breaking his own chains.

I believe that survivors are a team right up until the last gen is finished; one person can’t repair all the gens AND distract the killer, after all. When that last gen pops, it’s every person for themselves.

No, I'm a both sides main, so half my games were on surv. But the BP are more consistent with killer, and killer gets so many more cobbs (cakes) than survivor, that it made sense to me to dump almost all of it into my main.

Do you have cross play turned off? If so, it will only match you with others in your region that have it off. Can’t think of another reason why your queue times would be so egregiously long.

I was able to complete this challenge earlier today using Dark Devotion and Unforseen. Hit the obsession or kick a gen, then go as far away as you can before the timer on the perk runs out and static blast. With any luck, there will be survivors near the people/gens that have your terror radius.

Need more info. Were you playing a killer with a damaging M2? Only basic attacks proc exposed hits.
