It's a risk and reward perk, you only have 3 perk slots unless you're injured which activates the 4th at the cost of being an instant down1 -

Getting hit is not always a mistake. Now wasting a Pallet without taking a hit, now that's a mistake. 2 Health States are there for a reason and sometimes taking a hit is the smart play7
