I think it's a perk you can run for a while to learn where things are, but after that, your eyes mostly work just a good. It's a waste of perk slot long-term.1 -

It is truly a problem that killers were encouraged to not run slowdowns and yet they still run 2, 3, or 4. Doing that should be prevented or the changes to gen speeds reversed.3 -
