I enjoy the one-and-done approach to solo q. Sometimes your teammate are great, sometime they are a mixed bag. To me, it keeps in interesting, every match is a fresh start.1 -

Hit the pause button as you get hooked, all sounds are dampened in the pause menu so it's not as bad.2 -
