On the PTB, apparently it was a "bug" but I think the devs just kind of shadow nerfed it, considering the description specifically says "aura". You can find videos of what it used…1 -

The perk used to actually show survivors auras but it was quickly nerfed and I guess they never changed the wording.1 -

I'm surprised more people aren't mentioning ghostface. Most of his add ons don't do anything, especially his ultra rares2
