So, because Survivors make bad plays, we should punish Killers? Seems logical. I try not to be mean, but, this just isn't constructive at all.

The thing about borrowed time is that whenever you expect a random to have it they never do, you'll basically get farmed off of the hook or general gameplay forces a save to be made with the killer still pretty close.
Personally I think if solo players had the endurance effect for 15 seconds after being unhooked then that is one step towards solo v swf balance.

I think the original post is right BUT only if Borrowed time wasn't as strong as what it is now. Could be a great balancing tool for solo queue.

I like the idea but I don’t think it should be base kit. But is a perk and is worth the slot. What should happen is a reduction to BP if a survivor unhooks another in front of the killer without BT. Some kind of punishment to the survivor that “farms”.

Player agency is very important to DbD. You are at the mercy of the Killer. If you do not like certain Killer behaviors, pick perks that mitigate them. Borrowed Time is an anti-tunnel perk, so it serves its purpose well.
I don't use BT much, but when I play Victim er.. I mean Survivor, I don't go for rescues unless I'm pretty sure they can get away.

BT is almost worthless if the killer is smart enough to wait 15 seconds before hitting you. It only seems to be useful once the exit gates are opened.

I know one thing that isn't smart for sure; wasting time t-bagging the killer after getting unhooked and/or running straight to the killer after an unhook letting him know you have bt.

I propose that the Entity does not progress when the killer is alone close to the hook = anticamp.
Killers no longer see the survivor progress bar.
BT becomes a perk for the benefit of the user, even if it is slightly buff if necessary (because limited to two uses maximum)
Unjustified camping is only punishment for the killer. The tunnel is punished without dependence of the other survivors but costs a slot.

It's far too strong to be base kit. Any perk that is run as a meta perk is too strong to be base kit

If you are tired of teammates making bad plays/ farming hooks then I suggest you find yourself a team.
If you are not a team player then go play killer... you will then change your own mind why BT should not be base kit ^^
