On the fence about prestige
I finally got all the perks I want for Legion (took forever). I don't play him as frequently as I want because I was sweating to get red ranks (I just wanted to get it once, I don't care about keeping it). Now that all that is done, I kinda want to prestige him but I don't know when I'll get all those perks back. I hate these decisions 😬

I say don't do it. It's incredibly wasteful, in terms of your BP and time commitment, to hit the reset button on a character. You don't even get anything besides a piece of clothing, and I would personally much rather engage with all of the other cool cosmetics available, than just the bloody clothing.
Save your BP for other stuff, it will result in a better place experience.

If you want a bloody killer, go for it. Since you don’t play him a lot though, why not try it out before jumping to a conclusion? It wouldn’t hurt to test out your build before shoving off to something else now would it?

This.

Don't.
Every time I prestige I immediately regret it because of the grind and the random bloodwebs.
Sure the bloody clothes are cool.. but soooo not worth it.

I'd recommend not doing it until you find another killer you really like playing. If you find another killer you enjoy and don't mind playing while you prestige the Legion, sure, go for it. That way you've still got something you like in the meantime.
Prestiging doesn't really do much, though. It's completely optional and purely there to give people who play a ton something to do. So whether or not it's worth it is totally up to you.

Good point about the build and trying it out a bit more. I played one game with it and got a 3k (the damn hatch lol) and had a good time. I like the bloddy clothes but I guess I do have to weight the cost.

This + use up all the good offerings and addons first + the best time is during double bp weekends since you can get him to p3 in under 1 week with that.

I've had my David ready for Prestige 1 for months now, but the bloody clothing for Survivors doesn't appeal to me at all. I've Prestiged my Ghostface twice now, and that's just mainly for the Achievements tied to Prestige. Ghostface looks good with the bloody cosmetic, but overall, I aboid prestiging since there's no guarantee you'll get the Perks back soon, especially if you have a lot of other Survivor/Killer Learnables unlocked.

I recommend waiting for Events and Bloodhunts to Prestige as the grind becomes easier.
1 Million BP will get you to level 37 if you spend cheaply, 500K will get you to 25.
The way I do it is to play that character using all the bonus BP Offerings and BBQ and Chili and Bank those points. If you get tired of playing them then play someone else but remember not to spend anything, bank those points. When you have 1 Mil then Prestige and level him up then take a break. Taking a break from that Killer and taking a break from banking points freshens up your experience because you feel like you're making progress. Whenever you're ready go ahead and start getting them to 50 and if you're not ready to start all over again take another break lol then start the process from the beginning.
This response is just to help you get through it if you choose to do it. I get the P3 on Killers I enjoy playing and love. I do it to show that I respect that Killer and I enjoy investing my time in them because those are the ones I'm good with. If you don't feel like you'll be playing that Killer very often and it isn't someone you feel deserves that much time then don't do it, not worth it. I love Ghostface so I got the P3 for him and now I wear that bloody mask with his ''Legacy'' outfit with the Chrome paint, it looks amazing and I don't regret it.

Perks over clothing. 1800 hours and I have never prestiged and I still have characters I need all perks on. I am going to make it an end game goal if I am still playing this game and have all perks all characters.
If you decide to do it, please make sure at least one killer you like has BBQ. The prestige killer might not see it for a LONG time.

I personally find prestige worth it but I also play a lot. If you play a lot then go for it but if you don’t then I wouldn’t worry about it.

I highly suggest getting P3 on any killer you plan on spending bloodpoints on after you reach level 50. Being able to lose everything I worked hard for feels awful to me, so I always get P3 on someone before trying to get all of the perks on them.
Since you seem happy with your current build, I wouldn't worry about it until you start wanting new perks. At that point, I suggest that you reach the bloodpoint cap and then prestige Legion. Do that a couple times and you'll be P3 in no time without having to deal with your killer being below lvl 30!

if you enjoy the game and play alot i recommend p3 anyone you like to play, if you decide to do it later on, its somewhat of a waste with all of the points you put into them after they hit 50

I'm definitely not putting any more into legion right now. I think I'll slowly save up bp till I get to a million and then do it. He's one of my favorite to play but he can be tough to do well with so I'll get my time out of him. I have other killers I play as well who I can use to farm bp.

I am in the exact same boat but with the nurse. She was the first character I got all tier 3 perks on but never bothered to prestige her. The only other killer with all perks is spirit, whom I prestiged shortly after her release.
I currently have all killer P3 50 except for the nurse and I keep changing my mind everytime I look at my killer roster because she is the only one without the III mark on her photo 🙄

At that point, if it was me I would just do it to have some consistency. But then again new Killers will be coming of course and if you don't P3 them then you're ok since you have a whole bunch with no Prestige items and a whole bunch with.

I told myself I would P3 every killer that came out starting with spirit. I then noticed how cool some of them looked P3 and started P3 the rest. Nurse is the only one left but she feels way less fun to play now and we got a brand new killer coming soon...
I have a feeling one of these nights after one too many beers i'll trick myself into starting the long road to P3 on nurse.

look at all those P3. i almost got 1.7k hours and only have 5 p3 survivors (3 of which have all perks) and for killers they are all 50 with at least bbq and ruin rank 3. with lots of perks missing each one

I have everyone p3 full perks, now im farming add-ons on spirit until the release of the next chapter

I’d say only Prestige licensed characters that have no cosmetics available for them such as Freddy, Bill etc.

Prestige is optional but I would only recommend prestiging if you are either a completionist or you play a lot.
I am slowly p3ing my killers because they benefit the most from having a complete set of perks and numerous add ons. I only prestiged Jane to p3 because she’s my main; Ash is at p1, might make him p2 ONLY because I think Bloody Ash is canon. And I might prestige Nancy and Laurie because I would like to have Nancy as a back up and Laurie because she has so few outfits.
I have Michael and Plague at tier 3, and I’ll be leveling Doctor up from 2 to 3 after the event so he isn’t saddled with useless offerings.

literally only prestige licensed characters

I don't pay for cosmetics. I just don't like to. So the only way if get something different is prestige.

The only killer I'd probably wanna P3 is Myers. His bloody mask is the only one I find worth it honestly. Then again I haven't seen Legion's P3. Just looked at them, they don't look too different and there's no Susie or Joe one, which is disappointing. The masks are more bloody obviously but I prefer the normal one I think.

I'm saving my shards for perks from plague and Myers, since I don't really have any desire to play those two.

Good point about not playing them. But I'm not in a big rush to get his perks either. It would be more to experiment than anything. I'm on switch so unfortunately BBQ isn't an option. But I've done fine without it so far ?

Well I did it today. I prestiged Legion. I just really wanted the knife reward. I saved up 1 million points and did it. I got him to level 36 and luckily got the exact perks I wanted pretty easily. The only issue is they are not lvl 3 but I can live without for now.

I'd say do it only when you have every killer and survivor on level 50

Too late 🙃
