Spirit nerf seems ok except...
I don't mind that she doesn't have collision now since I don't rely on it but why not vaulting animation? I only use this for the shack loop but still it is very helpful.
Please devs, don't add this
Also I'm so relieved that they didn't gut her. I can stll destroy SWF teams 😈

Because 1 out of 17 killers didn't have a vault animation.
This is an unbalance. I don't know how this is so difficult for people to grasp that it's unfair. Even the Nurse has a vault animation.

She could be phasing, she could be vaulting the window, or she could just be standing there. I'm sorry but I disagree I find the vault animation reasonable due to the fact that you can still fake a phase ect.

I'm more curious to see her new vault animation. She could throw her sword over the window and teleport to it

I can still see the mind game part being there with the new beads. There just won't be as much gen surprises. Even then, it's not like they nerfed her right in the ground. Most of the changes are pretty subtle and give survivors a better chance to live. Albeit, she can still pop up out of nowhere and make someone crap their pants!

Basically for the reason you've said. You go to a window (like shack)- which can easily be dealt with through mindgames and knowing how to run the tile- and the survivor has literally no way to tell if you're actually vaulting or if you're just standing there. If they stick around to wait and see, it's too late. If they start running around and find out that you were really just standing there, it's too late. It's a blind gamble and something we'd like to avoid.
We'd like for the mindgames to be something you actually do, not something that just happens for you.

Only 1 out of the 17 can teleport through walls on demand, puts traps down that survivors get stuck in, throws hatchets, makes survivors sick etc....
That is just a stupid argument for why something should be changed. That is literally saying no killer should have something unique.

To be fair I got downed by this once as survivor for the first time, and I thought it was the coolest thing at the time. I mean it was something that actually surprised me; something this game rarely does anymore given how everything becomes more and more about doing the same things.
I would rather more tricks like that and the game balanced around them existing than removing them...but that is just me, and that is a lot of work I guess...but still shame to see it go entirely.

Honestly, the Spirit change doesn't look that bad except for Yakuyoke's amulet, that add on looks like its going to be a bad add on. You get an extra 3.5 seconds for the haunting, but you go -15% slower, that doesn't seem like a very rare add on, and it should be dropped to rare rating.

A mindgame is something you do to outsmart someone, it's not running in a straight line after someone and leaving them with no way to tell what you're doing. You can't really expect the survivor to not be close to the killer unless you give them a way to always maintain distance from the killer, which is tricky when the killer can turn invisible and catch back up at 7.2m/s.

You are discussing things that make killers unique. Be that a power or a vault animation, there is no difference.

I completely agree with you - that's also why I'm a bit surprised you didn't add an animation for when just starts phasing (like nurse charging her blink) - is it still coming eventually?

Her changes are fair. She’s still very much a top tier killer.

No it makes her phasing slower. She will still move at 4.4 m/s when out of phase.

Because they're nerfing killers with uniqueness to make things more consistent for stupid people.
Having to remember that killers are different and adjust accordingly is too hard. I can't wait until all killers are simple m1 killers and we can really have fun.

I played her enough to know its was easy to 4k with her. the only reason they buffed her is because crybaby killer mains can't play killers weaker than nurse without ragequitting

Sir why are you lying? She was very awfull in ptb and extremely predictable when she was using her power.
Also can you don't add the "crybaby killer mains" excuse? Sure it is easy to 4k at 20s with any killer, but having a killer that can be extremely easily tracked when using her power? That screamed for buffs.

I have a feeling the collision thing is gonna be bigger than what everyone is making it seem like. For example, if the survivor has iron will, good luck getting em. Now you would want to go in and out of phase quickly to spot em or swing and hope for the best. Now if the spirit has stridor, then it wouldn't be as big. That's just me.

Or ascend to a level where you can track people thay have iw without stridor.
(Aka predict their routes, movement patterns. Grass,footsteps and breathing are still audible)
