Survivors Flapping Arms on Hook?

What does it mean when a survivor flaps their arms on the hook? Does that mean

”They’re camping me!” or “Come get me!”

Old school, the killers is camping.

Today, it means both killer is camping and come and save me.

It is 100% they are camping if they are flapping arms , think of it as an alarm movement=danger .If people are flapping when the killer is not near don't save them or msg them after the match so that they'll learn eventually

I flap when the killer is camping and do nothing when it's save.

But in my experience most people either mix it up or don't know about it at all, so to me it seems pretty unreliable unless it has been organized in the pre game chat.

I really wish people would use the pre game chat more for things like this.

Arranging strategies, announcing challenges that need to be done, ect.

I flap the arms when the killer is camping and if he or she is not, I just stay still on the hook. Most people I have seen online do the same, but there are some which do the exact opposite. I have a friend, who I play with sometimes who flaps the arms to come get him. And he starts at the first second, which is very annoying. I already told him to stop doing it, because people will think the killer is camping and he complains that people take too long to save him. Yes, he is giving them signal that the killer is there, so that is why. Still, he keeps doing the same... some people just don't want to learn.
