Crosshairs for hunterss like killers for console

Do you think that hunterss and other killers like her should have like a dot or something to distinguish where you are aiming just a thought don’t flame me please ?

As a console player, I don’t think this is needed.

I don't know. I think there was a whole thing about people using them on PC. I think having the option to put a crosshair would help new players get into the new killer, but I don't think it should be built in to the base kit.

Perhaps build a crosshair into an addon like the plaid flannel for nurse and the addon that shows doc where his shock is going to land?

Well, why no? PC users can do the same, I think console players should be able to do so as well.

    (Anyways it isn't intended)

It seems like a good idea. However, it comes down to how accurate it would be and if they would want to do that. I know a few people that just put a dot on their screen to know where it'll go. However, I think it'd be a good option to enable or to disable crosshairs

Game-hack: Put a lil' bit of blue-tack in the middle of your screen.

I would be against this, it seems like Huntress hits enough hatchets as is on console, no need to make it even easier.

    I like @Accullla idea as an add-on.

It would be like training wheels for new huntresses.

    1. Crosshairs sure why not.

    2. Fix hitboxes so the hatchet actually has to hit your person. No invisible disc shaped hitboxes that let a hatchet hit you when it visibly missed.

Needs to be a entity style cross hair or no dice.

Seems a lot of people arguing for it are usually inexperienced Huntress players who are trying to get into it. It might not be the worse idea to add a cross hair addon that's a brown rarity. Can probably change the blindness addons for it.

Console players can do it too. I play on a monitor that has that option.

Just dont play on a 50 inch tv.

Even then, use a piece of sticky note like we did on CS:S.

    You HAVE the option.

I rarely come across any Huntress on console, so if it would help more people use her then yeah.

I hardly ever fully charge my hatchets, they're always kinda lofty so I can lob them other things.

The TV is too large and I have to look at it from an angle; I have never gotten used to where the center of the screen is in the ridiculous number of hours I've spent playing a multitude of games. And I think I would be literally murdered if I tried to go physically sticking something to the center of the screen.

There should just be an option to turn a crosshair for Huntress on/off in the game's options. It's annoying that PC users have ways to make the game easier for them that console users don't; they already get a better framerate and a keyboard & mouse. They can use other programs to get a crosshair, and they don't even need it as much because not only are computer monitors usually smaller than television screens, but kb&m is so much easier to aim with than a controller. So, so much easier.

The way I deal with my inability to quickly aim right now is I just don't play Huntress. A lot of people seem to think that way, because I rarely see her when I play survivor.

The problem with that is that Huntress requires a ton of precision to play at any decent level.

When a Huntress is aiming over a junk tile, the margin between "too high to hit the survivor" and "too low to clear the junk" is only a couple centimeters.

A menu toggle for a little grey dot in the center of your screen doesn't make that margin any less razor thin, it just makes that basic function of this killer somewhat accessible to players who don't want to dump several thousand hours into one killer.

Anyway, Hunter's hatchets has truck size hitbox ...

Since it’s unlikely to be added, just stick a piece of masking tape to your screen. When you load in as killer, don’t touch the controller. The circular cursor will be automatically positioned in the exact center of the screen. This is where you want to stick your tape. Happy hunting!

As someone who occasionally plays Huntress, I like the idea of it being an add-on. Nurse and Doctor both have training wheels add-ons, so why not apply this to huntress?
