What is it like going against Blood Echo?
Blood echo is the Oni teachable perk which gives the exhaustion and hemmorage effect on all injured survivors once a hook is made.
Has anyone got an opinion about this perk. I have been using on my hillbilly and I don't know if it's catching the survivors off guard making them panic.
I've never been up against it and have it affect me myself. It sounds like a good perk but idk.

Been using it on Doc. You don't notice the effects that much as killer.
One thing I will say though is that it makes me giddy seeing 4 Dead Hards in a match, and survivors unable to use them because of the "Rush gen no heal meta" going on.
Criminally underrated imo.

You could get some use out of exhaustion on plague. I tried it with bloodhound on legion, but it just blows on big map. A waste of a perk slot on any other killers imo.

I've been hit by it a couple times, although I'm a Head On gamer so it more or less means "I guess I won't mess around with lockers this time."
I could definitely see how it would backfire if I was counting on an exhaustion perk like Dead Hard, though. If I focused more on those perks, I would probably have second thoughts about staying injured.
Side note, it's very good on Plague. If people choose not to cleanse, they're always injured, which means they're probably going to be exhausted forever.

When Oni was released, (when he was a monster that could not be stopped) it was a monstrous perk at red rank. A good Oni will have everyone injured all the time, wanting to heal to avoid giving him more power, but unable to once he's gotten it the first time. As a result, in multiple games I found myself literally unable to use exhaustion perks in these games.
I enjoy it on plague and also legion if I run the legion pin.

Honestly it still is a good perk. The ability to punish injured survivors and counter 5/6 exhaustion perks is amazing from my perspective.
I'm honestly shocked it's not used that much considering the amount of Dead Hards I've negated.

If ive ever run into it I never noticed. I don't use exhaustion perks. Once in awhile i use sprint burst if i have fixated to go with it. But usually im not injured when I use sprint burst so it doesn't really bother me

The surprise factor is it's biggest benefit. However, if the survivors have awareness, it's not a good perk.

Very good on Legion as it stops dead hard as well as sprint burst to mess up your chain hits
I don't think i would run it on other killers though

I feel like it could be a good perk combined with Thantaphobia and maybe Dying light. Slows down that healing a lot more. And when we get some nice potatoes self-caring in corners? I see a target ;)

Good on legion + plague. If I run it with thana and dying light on plague one of them will eventually snap and cleanse.
