My sister got a notification when she startet up the game:

But it did not say where it came from, or why - and we have no idea?

When I loaded up the game, it told me that i recieved a gift of 50,000 bloodpoints and 1,000 Iridescent shards. I tried reloading my game and I still have yet to recieve them.

I logged in about 15 minutes ago to a popup message from the devs saying they were giving me 50k bloodpoints along with 1000 auric cels, under the header "Gift", with no further explanation, neither actually went into my account. Can anyone explain?

Hey y'all. Just to clarify real quick, this message was only meant for mobile. People on PC and console should not have seen this message at all, and you won't actually receive the rewards. We're investigating what caused it to show up on all platforms right now. Sorry for the confusion!

Exactly. People report anyone for any reason. Even BHVR couldn't possibly be dumb enough to use that as a metric.

So everyone did get the gifts (BPS at least). However the "gifts" seemed to be varied. Some people got 100k BPS with no shards. Some people got 50k BPS with no shards (such as myself and others). And now there are people who are getting 50k BPS with 1k shards. Seems odd that there is just a varying degree.

Nah, we actually got the rewards. It's a bit late now. Most of us have spent them.
Better leave them there too - this is your mistake, not our problem.

how do you play dbd in general without getting reports? I feel like whatever you do there is always at least 1 guy pissed at you in that match

true. And actually, why dont we deserve those gifts like mobile? arent we the players who helped making DbD even big and ported on mobile in the first place? Old school players should get gifts aswell for honor and loyality
