Pyramid Head's power has "dead zones"
I noticed in matches I would place my trail and it would vanish within seconds and it turns out that unlike every other killer, Mr Pyramid isn't allowed to put his power near gens, exit gates and hatches. I don't understand why he has this restriction when you can put a hag trap or a trapper trap practically on top of these places?
What does every think of these "dead zones".

Good

You can put them pretty close to both, just not on top of them

So a trapper and hag putting traps on exit gate switches and on sides of gens arent scummy tactics? And even if they dont trigger the trapper traps disarming them still give a notification just like trail so I dont see the difference, especially when the trail doesn't have any innate debuff effect to it.

You can also avoid trail by crouching so surronding a hook is the equivalent a hag trap which has a aoe trigger which will cover an area

Most killers that place traps have similar conditions, the one exception that comes to mind being Trapper and exit gates. The Demogorgon can't place portals next to gates, generators or hooks, and the Hag has a similar no-build area around some things (although she also has an extended trigger range).

Dude if you aren't gonna add anything constructive to the discussion don't post anything

Demo's portals and hags traps still will effect the exit gate as then can be close enough.
On some maps spawns of these object can effectively create dead zones as if a hook and gen spawn close that can be a small section you cant cover.
I had a match where the exit gate, 2 gens and a hook were all close to each other so there was an effect 16 meter dead zone for his power. It was a farm map where an exit gate spawned next to killer shack which had a gen inside a hook outside it and then another gen not to far away from it (corner tile).

I think it’s fine. You can just create rings 4.1 metres around a hook like I’ve been doing so far :>
most of the time you don’t even need to make rings, just 2 lines just outside the restricted radius.

I'm posting that I like those restrictions. I have no interest in debating with you, though.

I dont like the restrictions, its also pretty misleading for new players since unlike hag or demo you dont see that you cant place stuff there, you just waste your power unknowingly. Unlike other killers with a ability that has a cancel, his isnt that strong and i believe the restriction is unnecessary.

except in those 1v1 situations and pretty much all other situations, the torment effect and reveal can be avoided by simply crouching over the trail
that being said i totally am completely in agreement with you. its to stop scummy play, expecially from those who don't know you can crouch walk over the trails, and to prevent instant torments of people in a lot of situations. its there for a reason and i hope it stays, but also its not entirely uncounterable as your seeming to make it out to be. hag traps can be avoided by crouching too, and bear traps if you slow walk/crouch up to them they can be disabled so yeah.

You can crouch over the trial on lerys and hawkins lol, its not even a loophole

Wait, Demo isn't supposed to be able to put portals next to gens? Is this new? Because on PS4 that tends to be a go to spot for them. I even had the crap scared out of me one time while working a gen when Demo popped out of a portal underneath me.

What good is that gonna do? Ppl will just crouch through your trench and itll take less time to do so than it took you to setup.

No one going to mention that this also seems to affect stairs as well?

I mean, the main loophole is just crouch lol. it seems a lot of people don't know, but if you crouch you don't gain Torment, so if you're on Lerys or Hawkins you just crouch and he won't know.

While that's great and all for general movements, you can't crouch while preforming a channel. So that wouldn't save you if it were right up against a gen, hence why it can't be.
Maybe it could be a smaller distance. But having a limitation of some kind for this makes sense.

Nothing wrong with that. It's actually a good way of getting people to play a more healthy match: sure, if you went out of your way to leave a trail around every generator and every hook you waste a lot of time, but you also no-brain force Torment on survivors.
That being said, I would like to see the repercussions of being able to leave trails around an unoccupied hook that vanish as someone gets hooked on it. Sort of an anti-sabo warning system.

Not talking about being on gens, im saying just crouch past it when it's blocking the exit gates on maps like lerys.

Its like ive said on other threads so ill say it again here. PH is not meant to be a strong killer. He is a cool look with a "fun" power. His power really interactive and fun but deemed so strong it has built in limitations and easy ways around it. New survivor players have to be able to play around something with minimal effort, hence drawbacks

Actually trail of torment can be crouched over just like hag traps

Because they dont want to encourage killers being toxic and annoying.
