Something should be done about squads that run x4 of the same meta perks
I don't think this game was ever built around the idea of a meta loadout, and especially a meta loadout that 4 people are using. It turns ok or interesting strong perks into literal hell for the killer player.
My suggestion is to limit perks to x2 maximum on the survivors side. This would force diversity in perk loadouts and you wouldn't be eating the same Dead Hard or DS 4 times every single match.

Honestly, I've noticed that survivors who rely on DS and Dead Hard are the ones who fall the fastest. And there lies the huge issue. It's too heavily relied upon because we all know that EGC with DS? Yeah, they're escaping wether you like it or not. Dead Hard is a one trick pony imo. Use it once, and the killer won't fall for it a second time.

I don't think that would work. You have solo survivors who have also purchased those perks, through the shrine or by levelling up their characters - so they get into a lobby and there's a warning that they can't run this particular perk - they're instantly going to dodge the lobby to find one where they can run the perks of their choice.

Seems like there's a thread on this every other day.
Dead Hard doesn't work half the time so in a sense, if they run it, you have the benefit of that.
DS can be anticipated and waited out.
Iron Will is countered by Stridor.
Adrenaline encourages the survivor to not heal (which can be good for you).
Etc.
I play TONS of games and you don't see 4 people with the same 4 meta perks every game. You usually see 1 or 2 meta perks per survivor.
You can combat them. Just be prepared to see them and react.

You make fair points but these are just 2 examples. It doesn't really matter what they're all running x4, it just matters that it's x4.
That's a fair point too. But as a killer I can't run duplicate perks. It also doesn't feel like the game was ever designed around it either. I don't know if my suggestion would be the best in the end but something should be done to prevent sweaty SWF teams from using the exact same build as everyone else in the lobby. What's the fun in that?

"...these are just 2 examples. It doesn't really matter what they're all running x4, it just matters that it's x4."
The point isn't what perks, just that it's stacked. Nothing is equivalent on the killer side, yet it is rampantly abused by SWF groups and dare I say extremely competent solo survivors, although much less.
And it does become a perk problem when they start loading 2nd chance perks and the game suddenly goes from 2 hits to down a survivor to upwards of 4+. That's so extremely against the nature of the game.

Lets nerf killers by limiting their perk use, cause i dont want to face always the same meta perks. Let's say a killer cant use the perks the killer used during last Match against the survivors. So wo can break meta on killers.

Dead hard has been in the game for nearly 4 years. It’s has just barely ever been touched. When I first started playing, balanced was all the rave and EVERYONE made fun of dead hard. New players join the game and all of a sudden it’s a “second chance perk.” Lol
to your point - what this game really needs is fun game modes, in addition to “ranked” play. If you play this game to “win” for some reason (whatever that means) you’re going to bring the “best” perks because “killers kill.” And with that logic, “survivors survive.”
so until then, whatever lol

Again. Even stacks aren't as common as you say. I play so many games. I see a few meta perks here and there at all ranks and most of them can be countered. Just play an OP killer (there are plenty to choose from).

It doesn't matter if they're common or not (and in my and many others experience it is common for at least 3 of the same perk usually) it shouldn't be possible to stack perks like you can now. It's unhealthy for the game and makes balancing perks extraordinarily harder than it needs to be because something might be strong but balance if there's one instance of it or completely and utterly balls to the wall broken if stacked, like MoM was or full 2nd chance loadouts are.
If you don't have a problem with as you claim the common game is then having a max on these perks so abuse can't happen shouldn't bother you. If it doesn't happen that often than it won't affect a majority of people.
