Guesses for new killer
I just want to hear guesses and if they announced it and I didn’t know then sorry
Comments

Ok thank you for clarification
0 -
Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
4 -
we already know who is it
0 -
that is a good guess and mine as well
3 -
You mean it was leaked? Or do you mean the community all believes the same thing
0 -
We'll find out tomorrow for ptb I think is being released
0 -
would be a spoiler, so you should unlock the entries and cinematics from the Tome 1
0 -
Ah it sucks for me cause I play PS4 so be sure to update it if it’s possible
0 -
Oh I have so you are saying it is the alchemist I guess
0 -
I guess one of the killer's perks will affect the terror radius.
0 -
I guess that is correct
0 -
Well, from what im seeing in the foruns and social media, almost everyone believes the killer is the alchemist, he is my guess as well since i've been waiting for him for quite a while.
0 -
Yes as have I since tome 1 but I hear a lot more of Jekyll and Hyde but maybe they are the same person but I doubt it
0 -
It seems like it's Vigo in my opinion. Tome 1's cutscene for him showed him bascially corrupted by the Pestula Flower stuff (I forget it's actual name), and the line 'Something's festering in the Fog' really makes me think it's for sure him. I think it would be pretty cool if it is honestly. This would be the first killer that was technically a survivor first, since he was always seeking a way out of the Entity realm after becoming obsessed with finding it, only to be corrupted by it.

I agree but I heard somewhere that this is a licensed chapter
0 -
trustable leakers said it's not licensed chapter
0 -
Ok thanks :)

New survivor is Tayne, Killer is Celery Man.
0 -
it was beceause they had iridecent shard at the last moment so they guessed that since it had only auric, they add teh iri shard 2-3 day before the trailer
0 -
He won't be a strategic killer...
0 -
FWIW, the story of Jekyll and Hyde is public domain. In theory, BHVR could make their own version of Jekyll and Hyde for DBD without it being a licensed chapter.
0 -
I hope not. We just had Pyramid Head and I'd prefer they just stick to original designs for killers and survivors, that way they're not tied down to licenses to change and add things for them.

Vigo would be interesting

Unless the devs pull an extremely unexpected play, I am 100% sure it is the alchemist or whatever other name they come up with.
I think Benedict Baker being the alchemist would be a nice plot twist.

Based on the teaser trailer, It can ONLY be 1 thing...
THE CRAPPER!
Power: Laxative
Activating this power you drink from a bottle of High efficiency laxative and leave a trail of Crap for the next 20 seconds while groaning in intestinal pain that can be heard by survivors within 16 meters. Any survivor who steps in a Crap trail suffers from the "Disgusted" status effect. You may only carry 1 laxative bottle at a time. You refill Laxatives by searching chests, or striking a survivor with a medkit causing them to drop one. Laxatives refills spawn in searched chests every 40 seconds.
New status effect Disgusted: Survivors afflicted with this status effect vomit periodically which interrupts any survivor interactions for 2.5 seconds and applies the Hindered effect for the duration of the vomiting. In addition they also leave a highly visible stink trail, and cause other survivors to suffer the same vomit penalties periodically if they remain within a 6m radius of a disgusted afflicted survivor for more than 3 seconds, these penalties persist for 5 seconds for those survivors after getting more than 6 meters away from an afflicted survivor.
Disgusted survivors must spend 16 seconds to wipe off their feet in a patch of grass in order to remove the status effect.
Obviously this sinister killer will have an amazing advantage on indoor maps that feature little to no patches of grass! I can already imagine the extreme backlash in the forums for this OP killer! Well done devs, Samination will be honored to see their idea come to life!

I hope we finally get a robot character.
Specifically a Victorian-style automaton, which looks vaguely human but creepy.

Vigo and the alchemist are different characters, in the notes from Halloween of 2018 it says that the alchemist found Vigo's notes and Lab.

Amazing, I am in tears from the beauty of your prediction

Here's some teasers for the killers add-on's and a NEW Item for survivors!
A BFF's Famous Recipe (UR) - Dining on a bowl of a fellow Killers famous cuisine has increased the potential of your power.
Survivors who remain for 6 seconds within 12 meters of a Crap trail become temporarily disgusted for 5 seconds until they move out of range of the trail.
Moderately increases the Duration of Crap trails in the environment.
Stool Softener (VR) - Considerably increases you movement speed while leaving a crap trail.
Cup of Espresso (R) - Considerably darkens your crap trails appearance. Slightly increases movement speed while leaving a Crap trail.
Backless Chaps (UC) - Moderately increases the width of your crap trails.
New Survivor Item:
Ginger Snap (VR) - Consuming this item temporarily relieves a survivor of any negative status effect or killer power conditions for 10 seconds. If said status effects and conditions are on a timer, the timer is paused until the relief granted by this item runs out. Exhausted status exempt from this Items effects.

It's probably the alchemist but I'm gonna roll with @Zoldyar and guess The Werewolf. Dude in the trailer looks like he's growing fur.

I actually have a decent concept for a Jekyll and Hyde chapter:
survivor: Henry Jekyll
Killer: The Two-Face
POWER: Split personality
Press the POWER BUTTON to activate split personality. ALL survivors, as well as the Two-Face, morph into the appearance of Henry Jekyll. This effect lasts for 30 seconds. During this time, survivors are afflicted by the Blindness status effect. They will also be unable to see the health state that their fellow survivors are in. The Two-Face has no Terror radius while SPLIT PERSONALITY is active.
Special ability: Grab
While SPLIT PERSONALITY is active, The Two-Face can preform a GRAB instead of a BASIC ATTACK. This will immediately put the survivor into the dying state, and they are automatically picked up and able to be hooked. Survivors will not be able to tell when another survivor is hooked. The following effects happen to survivors depending on the survivors hooked within one activation of the power:
1 hook: 2 meter terror radius
2 hooks: Can activate detection perks such as spine chill
3 hooks: blindness effect lifted, survivors can see the health states of other survivors
once a survivor is sacrificed or killed, or if the timer runs out, SPLIT PERSONALITY ends and is put on cooldown for 35 seconds. this can be shortened with add ons.
SPRINT: While using SPLIT PERSONALITY, The Two Face can activate a 115% speed boost to help catch survivors. This lasts for 5 seconds with a 3 second cooldown.
Other details:
when not using his power, the two-face has the appearance of Henry Jekyll.
When SPLIT PERSONALITY is active, the two-face has all of the mobility of a survivor (crouching, hiding in lockers, dropping pallets, etc.) He can even pretend to work on generators. This not only shows him how close the generator is to completion, but survivors will see a repair progress bar that displays false information. Survivors will see the repair bar as if two people were working on the generator, whereas the two-face will see it as if one survivor was working on it, meaning only the Two-Face will get the accurate information.
Teachable perks for The Two-Face
Dual Act- Activatable perk. When damaging a generator, Dual Act will be able to be used as a secondary action. After 5 seconds, the generator will be damaged a second time. The second damaging of the generator will cause 15/7/0% less regression.
Hex: Cruel Enigma - A hex rooting its power on haste. These effects persist as long as the related hex totem is standing.
When Generators are completed within 15/25/30 seconds of each other, all survivors who worked on either generator suffer from the EXHAUSTED and EXPOSED status effects for 10/15/20 seconds.
Twisted Mind- One Survivor in each trial will become your OBSESSION. The obsession can stay on the hook longer without dying. However, they will always suffer from the hemorrhage status effect when injured by you. Their healing and generator repair speeds are moderately increased. Each time you hook a survivor other than your obsession, gain a token up to a maximum of 3 tokens. You gain 0/1/2 tokens for sacrificing a survivor. You spend a token each time a generator is completed, a hook is sabotaged, or a totem is cleansed. all tokens are automatically spent once all generators are completed. Each token spent has a different effect on the obsession:
1 token spent: Causes the obsession to scream intermittently over the span of 15 seconds.
2 tokens spent: Anytime the obsession fails a skill check, they are inflicted with the hindered status effect.
3 tokens spent: Until the obsession is sacrificed or killed, all survivors suffer from the oblivious and blindness status effects.
This perk has no effect once the obsession is sacrificed or killed. Once 3 tokens are gained, No more tokens can be earned until 3 are spent. The maximum number of tokens decreases to 2 after 3 tokens are spent.
