What kind of people.....
Just got done with a match where the other 3 survivors followed me around from the start. 2 of them eventually trapped me in a corner. The other one started fast vaulting in and out of a window to get the killers attention.
Once the killer got there it was obvious they were all working together. He walked up behind them. Didn't hit a single one of them. They moved enough to let him through. As soon as they let him through they closed the opening. The killer hit me twice and took me down. One of them healed me while the other 2 kept my exit blocked. As soon as I was healed the killer downed me again. This happened several times. They took turns healing me.
I guess once they maxed out on healing points the killer finally hooked me in the basement. One of them immediately unhooked, but the other ones were blocking the stairs. The killer hit me and hooked me again. One of the survivors immediately removed me and the killer hooked me a final time.
While I definitely wouldn't want to play many matches like that I was intrigued realizing I was witnessing 4 people that were not only intentionally doing this, but obviously doing it because they like it. I found myself wondering how pathetic someone's existence must be if their enjoyment from playing a video game comes from intentionally sabotaging someone else instead of actually playing the game as it was meant to be played.

What they did is a bannable offense. I hope you have any kind of proof such as a clip from their actions.
It´s a shame that it´s impossible to report such things without video evidence. I reckon most people do not record their games....

I'm on PS4. I don't even know if you can record a whole game. I have a couple clips of it. I used the report feature after the game. But I didn't see any way of attaching a video clip. I don't know if a couple clips would be enough proof anyway.

That highly depends. As I´m not as familiar with the report system as I should be, maybe @BigBrainMegMain , @MandyTalk or @Peanits might be able to elaborate on the issue.

What happened to you was basically as close to gang r a p e as you can get online. You can record 15 minutes. That should be enough.

That is literally a "horror" story told around the campfire... Just for whatever scrap of faith I have left in humanity I really wish such things wouldn't happen but the internet has taught me better. Some people are just touched in the head and they gather 2~3 weak willed sheep to follow along... next thing you know a new cult or political faction is formed (Wait this is getting too real)

You can save the gameplay by using the Shareplay function.
In the settings you can determine how long those clips last. I've set mine to 30 minutes.
So if I had a great match or if something dodgy happened, I can just press the shareplay button, save the clip and rewatch the match later.

Thanks. Very useful information. I will have to change the length of time for my clips. Mine were a few seconds at best.

This is the type of thing that you need to provide video evidence of I'm afraid and we have information on this thread how to record that on your specific platform: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/66835/recording-evidence-for-your-player-report#latest
The way to report is the same for all platforms, an initial in-game report so that we can see the match took place, then the additional evidence gets sent to Support https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us - whatever platform you are on, the Support ticket would need to be made to provide the video evidence.
And yes, what you've described is definitely something worth reporting - all the other players were working together to your detriment, that means the other survivors & the killer, are all at fault here.

I hate you experienced this, ruins it for everyone. Sucks worse you have to record everything to get something done about those type of matches.
Thought I had dumb teammates last night going down and hooked every 2 seconds, until I saw on Bond the Nea point to my position for the Wraith, who hooked and face camped me while gens went off.
I spectated to watch the Wraith down her, pick her up, and spin in circles as the Nea wiggled out, then finished the last gen while Wraith is just spinning wildly.
Haven't played since. So frustrating that certain players can ruin the fun for the majority of everyone else.

Set your sharing settings to record the previous 30 minutes of footage, and you will be able to save any match you like. If you want to attach a video, you have to go onto the website and submit a ticket, and I believe you just include a link to your video, after uploading it to something like youtube or twitch.

I have changed the record length on my shareplay on PS4 so I can do that in the future.

I don't mind, I Love encouraging people to use the report system, no matter how slow it is it does get resolved.
